Inverloch Esplanade Hotel reviews
80Bustling, modern pub with lovely staff. Kids spaghetti bol & calamari went down a treat as well as my nice crispy skinned salmon, unfortunately the beef burger let hubby down as not much flavour other than some cheese and mince patty. Drinks were good.
Good for a pub meal
Friendly staff and a busy vibe on a Tuesday night - not many other options available.
Personally, I think they would be better off having patrons order their own food and drinks and collect cutlery. Table service was ordinary - had to keep asking for things like cutlery, water and plates (shared entrees). There was no offer for a second drink or to order dessert. Felt like staff just wanted to get home.
Ok service a bit slow food 7 out of 10 $32 for a piece of fish and chips lettuce. 1 cherry tomato 1 slice cucumber a tad expensive.
I put a review about a misunderstanding where i was directed to the gaming room but what I was looking for was a quiet place to have a drink. The hotel contacted me and took responsibility for the issue and resolved the minunderstandong. Great customer relstions and I will call back to check the drinks bar.
Busy, nice, quick service. Thanks for accomodating us without a booking.
Dinner was great. Perfect portion size as well, sometimes when i get a parma in other places theres way too much and fries are everywhere but i feel this was, still a big meal, but not too big. So there’s no guilt of not finishing everything)
Nice local wine too and a family friendly vibe. Just what you need after a busy day on the beaches & walking around.
Atmosphere was great, service excellent and Coffee a big tick however,
I bought a prawn and mango salad which killed the stars.
5 tasteless prawns that were pale and watery resembling imported Venami frozen prawns, a few small pieces of mango and a plate load of Coriander that tasted of soap and killed all the other flavours, there was no mention of coriander on the menu.the other item was truffle and parmeasan chips which the chips were great, not much parmeasan and no truffle.
2 stars one for coffee and one for the staff.
I have just witnessed tbe most appalling treatment of a customer I have ever seen. A young man was asked by a bartender to "put on a mask" the man who looked quite unwell said he had a medical exemption. The bartender then asked to see it and an argument ensued whether the customer had to produce his exemption. The man and his lady left the venue. Training is desperately needed at this venue. The venue have no right to question nor ask a customer to prove their status. To make it all worse the bartender was so rude to a point had he worked for me, I would have sacked him on the spot. More training is needed at this venue.
The chicken burger was good a good sized meal. Don't trust the pics on the website they are much bigger.
The sports bar was good fun too.
The Centre of everything that happens in Inverloch. Sports bar, playground indoor outdoor areas caters for everyone. Food is fine but remember it's not a restaurant. The added area on the street parking area is a fantastic thing & hope it will stay permanently. In fact l would vote for conversion of A Beckett St to permanent one way.
Service was great! Chloe was awesome. Food was good for Bistro food. Steak was cooked correctly but the cut was on the lower end of good.
What a brilliant dinner at espy! We felt so attended to by lovely waitress Chloe- although it's high season she still went above n beyond to ensure her tables had wonderful experience
Awesome meals, service was a bit slow as it's extremely busy this time of year, well worth the wait, totally sh$ts all over racv cape schanck meals. Big thumbs up to the chef's at Inverloch Hotel.
Good spot on the main street of Inverloch but overpriced for basic food choices, terrible service, rude and unhappy staff. Did not return after the first time.
Possibly the most soulless pub I’ve encountered yet. Indeed, it’s as though generations of successive publicans have strived to remove every possible remaining trace of ambience that one might expect from a pub.
We skipped the front bar, although a cursory inspection revealed bright lights, bent metal chairs and plastic surfaces. The back bar is a slight improvement but feels more like an upmarket airport lounge than a pub with high tables and stools next to oddly clustered sunken sofas. Confusing.
Very well organised venue with delicious options on the Menu. Fast and easy service has indoor playground for the kids overall a great place to get together over a meal and drinks.
Very good burgers they are some of the best in Australia. There is a play room for kids too. All round great hotel and lunch place.
Good pub, little play area for kiddies. We visited 3 times whilst on holiday, only 1 of the meals was a disappointment (crispy pork was soggy).
Overall an okay experience. Ordered the Espy mix came with deep fried fish instead of fish tacos. When we asked about this were told no it dosent come with fish taco but it ckearly states fish tacos on the menu. I ordered surf and turf special cooked to my liking but only grilled with marks on obe side and my partners morrocan lamb was great just really small for 35 dollars. Being long weekend maybe they were off. But definatly a bit over priced
Always been a great pub over the years. Many things have changed in the last 30 years, but still a good local pub.
Ordered seafood pasta $33 for 2 scallops. 2 pieces of tiny fish. 2 prawns and 2 calamari rings.no sauce cooked in light chili oil was so bland! Ordered dip entre.received half a flat bread and 4 tiny dips.no way near enough to share.
