Amazing suit store that helps you with every need you require and then some. I had a mental image of how my "unique" suit would come out and the tailors and designers went above and beyond my imagination. Huge shout out and thank you to all the designers and tailors and would absolutely recommend to anyone who would like to have a custom made suit.

Fabric quality and fit of the shirts is not as good as expected despite tailoring. Shirts not ironed despite email saying they would be. Very disappointed in both quality and service

Outstanding service and great suits! I got my suit tailored by Romea who walked me through the whole process and was very attentive to the smallest details. I got a lot of compliments on the day of wedding on how amazing the suit looked!

Worst suit I have ever bought. Went back 4 times for get it fixed and still not happy with the suit. At last I was told that nothing can be done for it. Spent over 2 grand and I thought I would get something special but I still don’t want to wear this suit.

I had my entire groomsmen fitted at Instichu, they were able to work within my tight budget which was awesome! The whole experience was seamless, from suit selection to picking it up for the big day! Louisse was super friendly and experienced, which made the shopping and suiting experience less jarring for us. Thanks team!

We previously had a poor experience at another store but in a last ditch effort reached out to the Lonsdale Street store who were amazing. Liana is very knowledgeable and really looked after my wedding party and I. She went above and beyond to make sure our suits were perfect for my wedding day. I'll definitely be back to pick up a few more suits for the wardrobe.

My groomsmen and I went to Institchu on Lonsdale St to design and tailor our wedding outfits and my, did they deliver. Caterina did an amazing job through out the whole process. I still cannot believe how good we looked with the outfits!

I would highly recommend getting and making your wedding suit (s) here, or any suit for that matter.

I used Institchu to get formal shirts made for my wedding for me and my groomsmen, and also a dinner suit for my dad.

The initial consultation was great. All of our options and the process was explained really well and measurements taken.

We were happy with the suit for dad. The shirts however for my groomsmen and I did not turn out well. My groomsman's shirt sleeves were too short and ended up cancelling the order. My shirt had issues with the fabric not cut right around the buttons beneath the collar. I came back on 5 (!) separate occassions however the issue could not be resolved. Time had run out to make a new shirt before the wedding so I just had to settle with an imperfect shirt.

I would recommend getting your shirts made elsewhere.

Horrible experience, ordered 4 groomsman suits and they made a completely different suit to what ordered. How can you even mess that up. Absolutely useless.

From the moment I stepped into the shop at Little Collins St.to the moment I stepped out with me wedding tuxedo it was an awesome experience. The tux was made to perfection and InStitchu were extremely accomodating with all of my specific needs and requests. Special shout-out to Brogan who helped design, conceptualise and bring to life my tux. Awesome guidance and recommendation for all other aspects and accessories that go along with the suit were given without hesitation. Will definitely be returning for all formal attire needs!

I went to InStitchu for my wedding suit and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the product, and the service provided during the entire process. I had appointments every time I went there which was extremely convenient, and I was received on-time every single time.
I got a custom-made 3-piece suit for a very reasonable price. I was quoted the same price for a suit off the shelf at different random stores!
I generally hate shopping for clothes and I was dreading the experience. But the Team at InStitchu made it all so easy.

Had a great experience organising wedding suits for myself and two groomsen. Went in 12 weeks before the wedding date and at first was worried that there was going to be delays.

Our experience was handled by Louisse who was very helpful. After the first session where measurements were taken, we also selected the fabrics and little details of the suit.

Overall it took about 4 weeks to have the suit made and delivered back to the store where we then made any small alterations, which took about another week before we picked up the suits.

The quality of the suit and the price was well balanced. Would be able to recommend to friends that are looking for suits.

Initially, I loved being a part of the process of designing my very own wedding suit. It was an incredible experience going through each step at the showroom and Caterina was very friendly.

There needed to be some better communication around the arrival of the suit, when to pick up or try on etc.as I was only called once with no follow up voicemail or email.

Other than that, the service was amazing. The quality of the suit and every detail included was by far the best I’ve ever experienced.

Similar to other recent reviews, Institchu's standards seem to dropped into oblivion. Used them a few years ago and they were fantastic, not sure what changed but had a nightmare experience this time.

Based on previous good experience, I brought my grooms party in to have suits made for my wedding recently, well ahead of schedule as recommended. The suits came in a few weeks before the wedding, and it was immediately clear that they fit poorly - flared chest, pant seat so tight you felt mildly violated the whole time. I went through two rounds of alterations before it was clear that the jacket was fundamentally unfit for purpose. Unfortunately it was only a week out from the wedding, so I just had to deal. Took the jacket off at first opportunity to avoid it in photos, which is a shame since it was supposed to be a highlight.

I made a case of it not fitting under their "perfect fit guarantee", and all involved agreed the fit was unacceptable. However the Lonsdale St manager fought me at every turn - a three piece suit + shirt became a two piece, then no shirt. Sick of it, I just said yes and then when the new suit came in, they wouldn't even cover the alterations needed (again).

Really disappointed as I loved my first two suits from Institchu years ago but something has changed. Try the many other MTM offerings or buy off the shelf and find a good tailor.

It was a great and hassle free experience with Catherine at Instichu! Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for tailored made suits with competitive pricing!

I purchased two tailored suits, trousers and shirt so far. Tailored garments are lovely to live in -very comfortable. Institchu have a very large range of fabrics to choose from and you can pick a style that suits you (eg, peaked lapels or cuffs on your trousers). The team are knowledgeable and are genuinely interested in discussing what works. Once your suit/trousers/shirt/etc comes in you can try it on for fit and it doesn't take long for any minor changes to be made locally if needed. It takes time for a suit to be made so be patient.

Amazing service from everyone at the Lonsdale St store, but especially Liana. There was a few hiccups (there's always something when it involves a wedding!), but I was never stressed because Liana was exceptional.
