Ines Wine Bar

Ines Wine Bar exceeded my expectations with their excellent customer service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The extensive selection of wines catered to various preferences, and the venue's aesthetic and ambiance created a great atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing experience. Went Wednesday upon recommendation about the steak night. Yeah, so I'm going to go every Wednesday now. Great service, wonderful staff, beautiful place. Flawless.

Great service and very friendly staff. We arrived 9pm Friday without a booking and there were a few seats available immediately. Bar stools were my favourite to watch the talented bartender. Cocktails were delicious, and great music to accompany.

Absolutely fabulous service and so so yummy food. Next time I’m back in Melbourne I will definitely be going back. You must give this place a try.

Excellent service by Kane, amazing drinks by Tamara and amazing ambience. Amazing anniversary venue or just sunny Thursday afternoon. Would highly reccomend.

A refined and elegant spot in Chapel Street. Could match it food & service wise with any of the CBD players, and I loved the thoughtful interiors. We ducked in for a quick drink & snack (lobster roll) and received a complimentary delicious thingy from our waitress (Tam’s service was flawless, always there when we needed her, yet never intrusive). The quality of the snack & Tam’s great service was enough to know we needed more, and more we had staying for (the perfect) Charcuterie, entree (Scallops), main (Lamb & Duck Fat tatos) and about 8 -12 wines. Squint and you could imagine yourself in Paris, except with much better service & food. Love this place

We had the most fabulous experience at Ines. The staff are exceptionally warm and attentive. The drinks and food were absolutely divine. Their espresso martinis are incredible! And the ambience is simply perfect. My next trip to Melbourne will most certainly include another evening at Ines!

The entree (truffle infused arancini) was really nice.
Unfortunately my steak was not cooked very well, it had very little crust and definitely rarer than I would’ve expected. My partner’s meal took almost 20 minutes to arrive after my steak did. Additionally we ordered a side to share which arrived with my steak, so she was eating a side with no main.
Unfortunately just not good enough for the price we paid at this venue.
Also at the end of our meal the waiter asked me for a tip several times, it felt very awkward and forced. Just not something I would expect (and never experienced before to that degree of directness) at a nice restaurant.

Hands down the best venue on Chapel street, the steak is insane and I could eat the potatoes for days! The team and specifically Tegan have made coming here such an enjoyable experience and I can honestly recommend this place to everybody everyday of the week! Tegan you’re amazing!

Quite a few Italian varieties on the menu. The bottle we ordered was very good. The waiter's wine knowledge was lacking. It felt like they were reading some generic notes rather than from experience from tasting the wine on the menu. Quite surprised they didn't know what a Barolo was.

This is the second time my partner and I have been to Ines Wine Bar. The first time we came was for their Valentine’s Day set menu which didn’t disappoint, it was great value for money and we couldn’t fault anything!
Second time round we were just as impressed, we spent less than we expected, we ordered:
Oysters
Scallops
Arancini
Morten bay bug rolls
Spanner crab pasta
& a bottle of wine

The decor is stunning, the staff are brilliant and it’s not overcrowded, a little hidden gem on chapel street which is seriously underrated.

We will definitely be back!

Great food and cocktails, not forgetting the wine selection. Service was top notch as well. Highly recommend! My favorite was the crab tagliotini, absolutely to die for.

Always so welcoming and excellent service. They certainly know their wines. Great selection. We dined with friends and the food was superb! Fresh oysters with Champagne dressing was tops as was all the food. We will be back very soon. Thank you

Food, wine and ambience are all excellent. The crab pasta is superb. The staff are highly informative about the menu without being pretentious. We had a theatre booking and this venue was ideal. Service was efficient without us feeling rushed.

We are from Sydney and my son recommended Ines to us cause he had been there 2 weeks before. Have to say food was awesome and service was great too! Staff were very friendly and would definitely go back when we are in Melbourne again
