Indian Restaurant Masala Bar and Grill Berwick reviews
52 Good Indian Place to go to. We have been there a few times and have always enjoyed food here.
Never disappointed
Its ok, not the greatest, and certainly not the worst ive had,
overall im happy to come again as this is a safe go to if you dont know of anywhere better in the area
The ambience of this place is extraordinary. I personally had a great time. The food quality was excellent and the service was fast.
I requested a finger bowl for my disabled mother and the guy I asked came back to me and told me that they don't do finger bowls. After that the bar tender brought my mum a finger bowl. The water glasses had lipstick marks, toilets were disgusting where we washed our hand. I will never go again.
Expensive Briyani with less quantity and taste! Ordered for a jumbo pack for 6-8 people.got in 2 packs which was hardly sufficient for 5 and only piece of chicken being drumsticks.
Other items might be good but never ordering biriyani from here again.
Service was TERRIBLE. The food was ok but took too long to arrive. The waiter wiped food off the table directly on to the floor where my grandmother and father were sitting and got it on their shoes? It also is difficult to get the waiters attention, either their understaffed or the waiters just dont care. Would not recommend the paan either, the leaves are old and soggy. Pretty poor experience if you ask me. Also their signature paan cocktail is terrible and tastes nothing like paan but is also hard to stomach. I would just get mock tails and they hardly put any alcohol in the cocktails. The spicy guava mocktail was nice however.
Indo chinese food like fried rice, noodles etc.are good however chicken lollipop was not good. Biryani was not good as well, rice was overly spicy and looks like made with Shan masala
Ordered samosa and tea. Samosa was fine but Tea was average. In main course we ordered malai kofta which smelled and tasted like it was stale. Chef’s special chicken curry had no aroma and tasted just alright. Ambience is nice and staff was friendly but food is not justified for its rates.
So much oil and not much meat in curry Terribly not fresh enough!
The taste was not good at all below average.but expensive.
Never go again.especially with children.
1st experience table cleaning manners, after the dinner, removing plates and dropping all the rice and piece of rities, pappadam sweeping to floor when you are sitting, service and cleaning has to be improved, otherwise we won’t be visiting again
Hi, My main reason to raise a small complaint regarding this restaurant because we ordered a food and it took ages to delivered the food because there main focus is to deliver the food to Uber first as compare to customers waiting there for too long.quality of food is really bad, service is also not good but someone told me to visit there once but I would recommend my other friends not to visit here because its a waste of money for me.
We had our daughte's second birthday party at masala bar Berwick and food was delicious staff was very helpful and it was the best party ever. I highly recommend it
Probably one of the most unorganised and uncomfortable experiences I’ve had ordering a pick up.
Not only did we walk in feeling like a annoyance to the staff, we waited almost an hour and never received our food.
The kitchen where throwing trays at the front staff.
Just disappointed seeing the restaurant was a ghost town.
Entrees n snacks were very good. But bit disappointed for main course dinner. Overall good one. May be we vegetarian dont get mych varieties.
The food and service were awesome. The sitting areas are nice and comfortable as well. The music choice could be better. The staff was very sweet and served us professionally.
Liked the cocktails as well…Overall, Best family place to eat….
Worst food, goat curry was full of bones and no meat, chicken curry was not well cooked, complained to the staff still had to pay full price, not going back ever…
Rubbish food everything was frozen.
My friend already told me they sell frozen starters like smosa’s but still i came to taste.seriously will not come again.
Our friend came last night from the other side of the city and were blown away with such a beautiful idian restaurant with an amazing ambiance, delicious quality and customer service
Overrated food.
The chaats were okay.
There are better places in Melbourne for that.
Jalfrezi okay too. Can be better.
Rotis were good.
Kulfi falooda was an utter disappointment. Serving ice cream as kulfi. Please do not kill the original stuff!
Service sluggish.
Lots of room for improvement.
I have had dinner 3-4 times at masala bar. Every time i enjoyed a food. No complaints. Very professional customer service and the venue is so beautiful.
