59Have eaten here on many occasions but recently have found the quality of food is not up to standard
Visited this restaurant for the first time with the family & had the WORST INDIAN FOOD EVER. Ordered some veg platter & tandoor chicken. Was served the raw chicken. Samosas & spring rolls were so oily, had to use the napkins to take out extra oil. And biryani tasted like they just mixed some rice with available curry.
One advice- do not go there unless you want to waste your money.
Table for 4, beautiful flavours with buffet. Best since I have been coming here. Butter chicken superb.
Loved the food and service, will come back again.
Chef Inderjeet personally checked with us about the quality of the food, and thankfully for us, we did not have to lie.
Dhaba style cooking and use of raw spices was very much visible in the presentation and taste of the curry.
The food was great. Staff felt confused about simple questions. We got the banquet, and it wasn't clear what u would end up with got confusing when they brought out 4 Samoa's for 8 people, and we had to ask for more. There was plenty of currys that came out. There's room for improvements with clearer information from staff.
I have take away from here a few times and it very good and quick
We came for an early dinner with our nine month old. We were there only people in the restaurant when we arrived at a ridiculously early 520pm but it filled up so fast! The Sunday buffet was amazing and the service phenomenal. Staff literally refused to accept our tip after our daughter made a big mess on their floor and we felt terrible. What wonderful food and people
The staff are lovely hear and make u feel welcomed. It was my first time there and I have 2 say omg awesome food. So yummy.
Unfortunately my favourite Indian restaurant has turned really bad over the last year.
I'm not sure if there are new owners or chefs or both.
Meat is tough

Best breakfast menu in Melbourne.definately the best dosa hot tea bhatoora and best service.
Once a regular but never again.
Have had an issue with every order since management changed.
Most recently, after calling specifically to confirm part of the order it was still wrong and I was given a flat out refusal for any rectification.
Super disappointing.
Food good but everything else disappointing. Wine glass with lipstick, drink forgotten and no apology, items from the banquet missing and staff preoccupied with anything other than customers
Had a tasty dinner with family. Reasonable price and superb service. Will come back and recommend for sure.thank u️️️

I believe the food is good, but hard to know if they can’t make it for you. Perhaps get some better systems in place.
Classic - whilst awaiting the order a seated customer asked the waitress for assistance. She walked right by him with no acknowledgment.
We got takeaway, the whole Indian Mahal experience was dreadful, the butter chicken was at best, was like a supermarket sauce, huge pieces of breast chicken that were dry! Never again, we are now looking for a new a lndian restaurant
Fabulous food at an unbelievably reasonable price.
We had the $25 buffet.pick the dishes you would like from a choice of 10 dishes, add salad, roti, papadams, raita, chutneys and for desert there is yummy gulab jamun.
The lovely lady who was looking after us encouraged us to eat more if we needed to, and this was after we had both had a little second helping already.
All the dishes we tried, and we tried almost all of them between us, were so tasty and fresh. I particularly liked the vegetarian options and my dining partner loved the lamb rogan josh.
This was a spectacular find for us on our travels and is a great place to eat.
I couldn't more highly recommend this restaurant.
Omg the food is amazing and the service is excellent, I can not believe we are the only people in the restaurant they do heaps of takeaway but the dine is fantastic. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a dinner here.
The driver in their company car 1AX4QK needs to get his licence checked. He was driving recklessly and cut me off almost causing an accident.
Been here multiple times and every time it absolutely slaps. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.
We have loved this restaurant for many years, so much that we moved away and if we ever want indian food we travel all the way back just for this place. But last night's experience was horrific and enough to make us not return again!
To start, the plates at the buffet were that hot that my daughter burnt herself and I burnt myself, and many guests there loudly complaining from burning themselves too, staff seemed entertained about it and did nothing to change it. The service was poor, extremely SLOW and very rude women.
The food was also the worst we've experienced! The food tasted nothing like usual, butter chicken extremely spicy had one of us physically sick afterwards in the carpark.
It took us 50 minutes to be asked if we want a drink! We also watched a lady stand at the counter 15 mins before being acknowledged.
Hopefully management see this and make changes because it will lose customers very quickly, like they've lost us!
My husband ordered online on Sunday night for delivery. We received email confirmation of our order with an approximate delivery time (45mins later).
As that delivery time came and went we called to see how long the order would be, only to be told they had no order for us.
We were advised that we could order for tomorrow night, “they’re not going to cook it tonight” because they had no delivery drivers available… (Meanwhile our card had been charged and we still had no dinner for that night).
We requested a refund for our order and were told that wasn’t possible, they didn’t have authorisation to do that. We asked for the staff member to get authorisation and for an email address that we could send the order confirmation that we’d received to.
We were told “sorry I don’t know the email”, I asked to find out the email, “sorry I don’t know”.
I could see a second email copied in to the email that we had received and I queried if I could send it there.
“Oh yes that’s the managers email send it to him”.
They asked for our phone number and advised they would call back.
It’s now Tuesday and we still have no refund and no return call.
I completely understand that at times things can go wrong with computer systems and they might not have received the order for whatever reason, but it was their lack of willingness to try and assist us on the night, simply telling us they were not going to cook it or provide a refund… and even more so the lack of communication and follow up from the manager since then, that has earned them this review. If I could give zero stars I would.
