Indian Burrp reviews
81The food is ok, but the owner is extra extra friendly. When we are at a place with family or friends we want to have the time for our self, we do not want interference every 5 mins. Not a good place to dine in.
Unfortunately there is no negative marking that would suffice the food and services today. The food came 1 1/2 hr late, where the rice came but no dal, vegetable came with no roti. The food was awful.no taste, exhorbiting high prices, way less quantity. Overall negative rating and RECOMMENDED TO NEVER VISIT INDIAN BURRP.
Delicious Food, Amazing Hospitality, Highly recommend, went there for a Birthday and the Manager was amazing letting us allow our own cake, definitely recommend.
Absolutely delicious food. Very fresh food with lots of flavour. The
Dahl & Pani Puri are favourite of mine. I will definitely order from here again.
Lovely young gentleman who is so welcoming is making the restaurant a lovely place to go. Food is DELICIOUS!
Quality food. First time being here and was very happy about how they treat there customers. Very friendly and highly recommend to new people
Sorry, I don’t usually bag restaurants but my wife wanted me to do this. Ordered via Deliveroo a biryani and papri chat but must say it was no where near Indian food. The use of black pepper was overpowering the biryani and mint sauce was overpowering the chat. Would say not impressed, now I have to cook for the wife.
Just delicious. Was worth the wait via Menulog. Had the butter chicken and dal special. Chicken is charred in the tandoor first (I think? !) giving a beautiful Smokey flavour. Everything packs a punch - so many beautiful spices.
Worst Punjabi food. Very less quantity at higher price. Not worth it. Ambiance is good but have to wait for longer period to get attended for order and even serving took a long time. After long wait for the food we got salty sabji and cold Naan. Very disappointing.
I got takeaway on two occasions and it didn't disappoint. This is now my go to Indian. The flavours are terrific and they cater for all levels of heat intensity. It really is a premium restaurant and I can't wait to visit the restaurant as a dine in customer. Great food, staff and service! Thank you and so pleased to have discovered another local gem.
Been awhile since last at Burrp where the service, ambience & quality of food is still outstanding, which is no mean feat with such enormous menu options. I was fortunate to try Chicken Lababdar from the NEW menu - outstanding. It's really worth supporting our local businesses in these trying times, especially when they offer a service as high as Burrp continually do.
Ordered5 different curries and all outstanding, served with 3 different Nana's bread. We first went for daughter as lots of GF options but has won us all over. Quick service and a touch of elegance made it a memorable evening. We will be back
We ordered direct from there this evening and it was amazing! We have eaten there before and been very happy and tonight was no exception. Keep up the good work guys, we hope you manage to survive the madness of lockdown.
Came here for the bottomless curry which was so much fun! Would definitely recommend for a fun night with friends or a date night. Great vegetarian options too.
Came here to try their $30 bottomless curries. We were suprised at how fancy it was. Service was really good and loved the ambience. The three curries we tried were all fantastic.
Ended up going here on a Saturday night at 7pm, quite disappointed at the speed of service, took ages to even order drinks with only the one guy who could taking orders.
In addition we got the entree we ordered at ~845 and main meal >9pm. Feel as though they are under staffed in the kitchen or over prioritising uber or equivalent. We also had a conversation with the couple next to us who confirmed that the service times have decreased over the past few years.
Further we ordered a hot curry and were surprisingly advised, when the curries weren't hot, that there are 5 other levels of hot not on the menu. As much as I appreciate the waiter may not know tolerance for a customer to the level of heat I would have appreciated to know the extra levels of hot which were suddenly available after after we complained, nor provided as a reference or what others would order.
Disappointed.
By far the best curry in town. Amazing garlic naan, consistent spice levels and 5 star service whether you eat in or get take away. Highly recommend chicken biryani and vindaloo.
We have been going to Indian Burrp for years and we have never had a bad experience. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. Would highly recommend Indian Burrp.
Food was excellent, ambience was perfect, service was excellent by the staff. But I felt it's a little over priced to visit again. Not sure if I would really visit here again
Had the worst experience at this restaurant! Ordered takeaway and received the wrong dish. When I called the restaurant for feedback, the owner was extremely rude! We have never come across a person in the service industry who refuses to take feedback and responds so rudely to the customer. Also, the food was below average. Being an Indian, we have plenty of experience with Indian food so we know the difference. Do not order from this place.
