Imola Red Cafe / CHIPOTLE RESTAURANT

Had a table of 5 last Sunday night for a catchup with mates. We were all greeted and seated nicely. Food and drinks could not be faulted and the timing was spot on. The hospitality and experience was amazing.

Thank you CHIPOTLE staff, we had a great night and will be back very soon.

Had several different Tacos and Nachos. I found the taco’s soggy from the chopped tomatoes and the fell apart but that also tasted stale. The meat of veggie filling was under seasoned and little flavour was evident. No salt or pepper was available. At $14 for two Tacos I was underwhelmed in comparison to other Mexican restaurant’s I’ve been too.

Mixed feelings about this place.
Menu stated "All day breakfast" but then had a tiny sticker at the bottom saying breakfast served till 1: 30p.m. That needs to be clearer, maybe re-do the menus. The breakfast menu is literally half the menu. Was advised it couldn't be done due to it all going back in the fridge? Not sure where it's kept the rest of the time?
Ordered a parma but they ran out of chicken, got a foccacia instead, wasn't to bad. Hubby got a burger, was a processed patty & felt sick after eating.
Seems popular with the older locals, not our greatest eat out.

My friends and I tried these guys on their first night opening as ‘Chipotle Bar & Grill’ last night and we left quite pleased. The menu had lots of our favourites and the burritos and quesadillas were very tasty and flavoursome. We thought it was a bit strange that the rice wasn’t in the burrito when it came out, but enjoyed the big serving

The frozen margaritas looked great so we’re excited to try them next visit, and we are glad that somewhere close to home is finally doing ‘fish bowls’!

In regards to some room for improvement, I would recommend these guys to pay a visit to some really popular Mexican restaurants up closer to town or even the very popular one in Mornington. Just to get a feel for the vibe they give off with their staff, music, atmosphere etc. Maybe some tables and chairs that feel a little more inviting and restaurant and ‘bar-like’ would be nice as well, just for further down the track.

Overall, we had nothing to fault in regards to the service, food, time it took for our meals to come out, the decor etc.and thought that considering it was their first night, our experience was great!:)

Staying at the peninsula for the weekend and we found this little gem of a cafe, amazing customer service and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the eggs bendecit and it was the best hollandiase sauce I've ever tasted. Will defiantly be back!

Superb ham and salad sango on multigrain bread. Partner had a yummy BLT. Coffee is great.a local favourite.

She loved the bubble and squeak, my eggs were acceptable. Coffee a little weaker than I prefer, but I didn't bring it up, so jokes on me!

Great food and service and good value. The kids really love the ice chocolate. The burgers for lunch are also great.

Good coffee and tea with friendly service unfortunately the owners are retiring after 10 years good luck for the future

Nice, clean cafe. I ordered the big breakfast, and even though they were moderately busy I only had to wait ~15 minutes. The eggs were poached perfectly and the chipolata sausages were above average. The big breakfast lived up to it’s name, and I was bearly able to finish it all.
Their pricing is okay, and their coffee is satisfactory.
The atmosphere is nice and casual, and the staff seem relaxed. I think this is a welcoming cafe that doesn’t try too hard to look trendy.

Lunch specials are excellent and staff friendly and helpful, food was tasty and a very good serving.

Nice cosy cafe. I've generally been served by the owner. He is a friendly chap. The hazelnut syrup cappuccino are pleasant to drink. The toasted ham and cheese sandwiches are tasty.

Picked up a quick togo brekki for the beach. $10.00 for a egg sandwich, hash brown and flat white. Lovely service.

Dropped in for a quick lunch. Food was quick and great. Friendly service, happy staff.

I've been here a few times. The owner is friendly, the coffee is great and the toasted egg and bacon sandwich I had today was yummy.

This is THE BEST cafe for a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Muffin on the Peninsula - Seriously.
When we come down to Rye (monthly) we always make sure we squeeze in a breakfast here and have the Bacon, Egg & Cheese English Muffin with a Hashbrown. $10 with an OJ. The best value and twice the size of a McD's one. Cooked to order, not like other places where they are pre-made, sitting in the cabinet and heated. Love your work! See you guys again really soon!
