Imola Red Cafe / CHIPOTLE RESTAURANT reviews
63 I love this Mexican restaurant! I tried the burrito and the margaritas. Nice atmosphere
Me encanta!
Huge shoutout to Chipotle for delivering the most delicious dinner in town! The Mexican food is like a party in your mouth and never misses its mark. We're head over heels with the service and those margaritas are on another level! And, don't even get us started on the sizzling fajitas - they're a total game-changer!
We have been coming to Chipotle regularly since they have opened. The quality and quantity is beyond what you will find at other restaurants. And their service tops it off even more, the team there are genuinely happy and go out of their way to ensure you are having a good experience and ensuring the quality they provide is at a high level.
Like I said, take the time to go visit, it’ll be well worth it and you’ll want to go back
Visited this place twice and had really great experience.food is so good. Also they have great service and atmosphere.definitely recommend to go to this place.
Very good delicious food and the service was amazing thanks staff and owner for beautiful meals last evening…highly recommended restaurant in the area
Wednesday is all you can eat!
Food isn't bad at all, and it opens late. One of the best eateries you can eat around this area.
Affordable and attentive service.
Wow, a really nice restaurant in Rye with gr8 food & wonderful service.
The food was fresh.
The service was A1, a big shout out to Carmen for bringing Mexico here on the Peninsula.
We will definitely be back.
Went there with my partner and two young kids. Staff were really nice even though the kids were acting up a little. Food was really great which showed with one kid eating all his food without having to be asked. Very reasonably priced too. Only criticism would be that I ordered a coke zero and it came in a glass and think it was post mix. Really do like my cokes in a can with a glass. Would go back.
We got takeaway. Took 20 mins, but amazing burritos and bowls! Large portions and the extra guacamole and sour cream were very generous! Nachos were really cheesy too. Highly recommend.
Were so disappointed with our meals. Ordered a nachos and the enchiladas. Nachos serve was tiny with some cornchips and melted cheese - stuck to the takeaway container. Tiny serve of guacamole with it came to $28: enchiladas were meant to have salsa verde but it was most definitely pesto! So odd tasting. So overpriced for less than average ingredients.
Delicious authentic Mexican food, we had the vegetarian fajitas and Baja tacos. My only comment would be that I was surprised that the vegetarian fajitas were priced the same as meat.
Soggy food, over price, took ages and then I realised they took my food to another table
Very disappointed
Do these nachos look like $28 Nachos?
Look they didn't taste bad, flavour was okay once we stirred them up, but it's super clear the kitchen staff couldn't care less.
FOH staff is nice enough, but according to them, they aren't taught how to play the music, only the owner knows how so instead you just sit in dead silence. Which is a shame because they clearly made an effort to make the interior look cool (exterior too with a cool mural) so it seems a waste to kill the vibes with dead silence, so we have had to play or own Mariachi music from our phone every time we have been except for the first.
Also- strawberry liquor is advertised as an ingredient of the strawberry margarita, but they actually don't use it or have any just sweetened strawberry puree.
I've been here 4 times, each experience slowly becoming worse than the previous. I've even had to unlock and open the front window myself in the past as the staff couldn't be bother to.
I think we are officially done giving this place a chance, we will head to Rosebud for Mexican next time.
This place could be SO COOL! Lots of potential, but needs some LOVE and passion otherwise it will continue to be one or 2 tables of 18 year olds max.
**French consumer leaving an advice**
The one liter margarita is amazing, we chose the curaçao one, a delight.
The beef burrito is perfectly cooked, we really can guess what we are chewing if you know what I mean.
Regarding the churros it’s just a delight: I’ve rediscovered the churros of my childhood in the south of France.
¡Muchas gracias y hasta pronto!

I went for a dinner on a beautiful sunny day in Rye but Chipolte made it an absolute 10/10 day. The food, the service was spectacular! Would highly recommend to any one in the area
Yum! Great Mexican. Nice beef enchiladas. Sangria also excellent.
Lime Jarritos is highly recommended.
WORST service I've ever received in my life. Waited over 2 and a half hours for our food, only to have it messed up several times, brought out in takeaway containers despite sitting in, and brought out COLD and flavourless. We were sitting outside so all the servers completely forgot about us and never asked or checked up on us, and had the manager argue with us at the end when giving feedback of the horrible experience with NO offer of reimbursement. If you like waiting close to 3 hours for cold, bland food and argumentative and incompetent servers, this is the place for you.
We ordered takeaway was told it was quicker, about 15 minutes. We ordered two burritos, chips and some drinks. To wait, we sat by a table at the front. Half an hour had gone by and I kept trying to make eye contact with the servers there and I did make eye contact several times including the person who served us but no one bothered to come over until I finally beckoned someone to come over. Mind you they weren't super busy.
I told a young waitress about our order and she went to go check up on it. She came back a few minutes later saying they had called out but no one came to pick it up. They had never asked for a name, we never heard our order called out and we were in plain sight of the checkout counter anyway. I even made eye contact with the person who served us!
We got two burritos which were 25 dollars each mind you and it was so average and so bland I was in disbelief. The 'Mexican rice', which was a side was literally white rice with corn, carrots and peas. They just used frozen vegetables.
We also ordered chips and we asked where they were. The server who took our order came up to us and showed us the receipt without any chips on it. She made it sound like it was our fault that she didn't hear and didn't even apologise for forgetting to add it to our order when we paid initially.
Overpriced and terrible service. Suffice to say, go elsewhere.
Stingy with rice, hardly any salsa though they name it pico de gallo which is a joke. Burrito tasted average. Only nice part of this meal was the sour cream which cost $2.50 extra. Never again!
Went for dinner on Good Friday. Service was excellent. Friendly people and great food. Tacos were very good.
Had a decent vegetation selection as well. And the margaritas were very enjoyable. Will be back!
