Il Piccolo Gelato

I had the chocolate, creme brulee and strawberry flavours together. Absolutely amazing. It was worth the brain freeze. Can't wait to see what flavours they have next time I go there.

Always cheerful staff. Always extremely DELICIOUS icecreàm and Gelato. Extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile for customers. I have often asked if specific flavours could be made for special occasion. Ii have never been disappointed with the service or the product.

I haven't had sorbet for a few years now so I decided to treat myself today and dropped in to this little shop. Boy was I pleasantly surprised by the flavor and size! I just wish I didn't live so far away. So every time I go to Ballarat now I'll be having a double!

Their gelato is divine, and the staff are lovely. I'm glad I'm not local because I'd be too tempted to visit weekly

Great tasting gelato with a decent price. The only thing I can nitpick are is the size of the store, definitely not big enough for the amount of customers as lines reach outside the doors

Hands down some of the best Gelato I've ever had! The Lemon Cheesecake is my favourite as I have been craving cheesecake for months so this Gelato definitely tied me over.

In a word, yum. Great variety and able to have choice of cup or cone. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Take home packs available as well as ice cream cakes. Well worth a visit.

Perché non diciamo, Il grande gusto? This gelateria has nailed it. The flavour, the taste, the selection, The price, the style. Everything is just right. This is a Ballarat must-see.

Best place for Gourmet icecream and the way the scoop the icecream is cool it actually fits in the cone so you don't get the traditional icecream at the top with empty cone.

Pistachio is the bomb! Tried Choc, Lemon Cheescake and Ferrero Rocher. All flavors are spot on and really intense

Having just returned from Italy, my daughters and I were keen to have gelato but this was more like ice cream than gelato, in fact I don’t think it would even be sold as gelato in Italy. Portions were very small for the price and unlike real gelato this stuff was just loaded with sugar so you couldn’t really taste the flavour it was supposed to be.

Nice little restaurant in Ascot Vale! Have been here for both brunch and lunch, the meatball bruschetta is one of the most delicious brunches ever and something I would never have thought of. Their risotto was also creamy and delicious and I can't wait to try it again!

This has got to be THE place to go for ice cream in Ballarat. Conveniently located on the main strip, the two guys who served us were very friendly and chatty. Whilst their selection wasn't huge, their product is faultless. I had the passionfruit n boysenberry and the hazelnut. Sensational. I'll never be able to come to Ballarat and not stop at Il Piccolo.

Needs milkshakes. Came for a shake and Tiramisu gelato and they didn't have either. Settled for Baileys which was fine but could have been better. This was my 4th time in the shop and the first time I hadn't walked out or been told they were closing. Good gelato though.
