Il Caminetto

To the owner who uses third party services @ driveyello for delivering their pizzas thinks everyone is avaialble for him whenever he thinks so.
He approves the shift couple of hours ago (2 to 3) which was applied few days ago and expects to do the shift. Is that a joke.
As a delivery driver we cant be available all the time when he thinks it is okay for him.

Due to which the company ofcourse blocks the drivers account as it doesn't want to lose a business.
And delivery drivers Suffer big time as cannot work for else options than his place.

As a Small business should respect individual who works hard to make ends meet.

They need to learn how to communicate, very bad experience never coming back.
Keep up your arrogance and attitude and you'll be losing your customers gradually.
Wish could give them no star at all.

Unfortunately a little disappointing. Have eaten here 4 times before and it has always been nice
1.they have changed their pinot noir and this was a mistake as previously it was Italian and lovely this time it was not a pleasant pinot noir.
2. $20 for the very poor calamari was over priced
3. My main meal tasted awful however my partner's dinner was very tasty.
4. If that is the best panna cotta they can serve then it was below par.
The service was good by staff and they were pleasant and attentive.
Unfortunately it will be a very long before/if we ever return.
They did not charge for the unpleasant main meal and gave us a free coffee. However I would have preferred a lovely medl.
Something has definately changed in this restaurant.

Meals were exceptional, pizza and pasta were flawless. Great table service! Will definitely be returning to II Caminetto.

I went for dinner with my next door neighbour Karen who was talking how beautiful the food was at il Cainetto and she wanted too take me there fir my birthday and l have too say WOW the food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so lovely and friendly l had a lovely night thanks too Karen for taking me there and l will definitely be going back again. 10/10

Ordered tiramisu from uber eats which cost $16.50 plus delivery and service fee and it was delivered in a tiny little small cup. I am fuming. Complete ripoff

This place is absolutely amazing. Best Pizza / Italian place in Melbourne. I have eaten here so many times and every single time the quality of the food is consistent. The staff are really friendly and remember our order as well. Also have tasty vegan options. Highly recommend.

I like the pizzas but so far every pizza I’ve had has been soggy in the middle. The Napoli sauce on their gnocchi was a little too sour for me: (

My favourite Italian restaurant in the North West side of Melbourne. Love the Woodfire pizzas. The scampy spaghetti is to die for! Also great cocktails too.

Limited menu, the pizzas have no taste and are burnt, the waiters have no customer service. They serve you warm water to drink and have no idea on follow up service once meals are served. I would not class this dinning as authentic Italian dinning. If you want real Italian food I would not go here as you will be disappointed. I booked an 18th birthday for 20 people so we got to try most of the dishes. If you don't know how to cook, please stay out of the kitchen.

This Italian restaurant will surprise you with their flavours and the best pizza in the whole country! It is just so good and would love for others to experience it too.
The team and waitresses are always super nice and helpful, thank you for creating such a wonderful dining experience!

Amazing gluten free pizzas. Best gluten free I've ever had, no way you can tell its not a normal base. Good vegetarian options too

Had our daughters first birthday today the service and food were first class. Anything we asked for was done with a smile, that’s old school service the world seems to have forgotten about. If I could give 6 stars I would. Highly recommended we will be back

Great Pizza, highly recommend pick up over ordering on Uber Eats. Not sure what’s happened to the Vegetariana pizza? It seems to have gone AWOL of the menu! Heartbreaking as it’s by far the best one they did

Ordered through uber eats, live about 500 metres from the restaurant yet my pizza arrived just warm. Very dry and very little flavour. May not order again.

Il Caminetto (translating to ‘The Fireplace’) is a newly renovated Italian pasta and pizza bar inspired by the beautiful, rocky city of Matera. They pride themselves on their traditional homemade fare and cater to everyone, impressively offering gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options for almost every dish on the menu.
We visited this year for Mother’s Day and the venue was packed and buzzing. You can really tell how authentic they are and how much they love what they do. I couldn’t go past the lasagna, one of my favourite italian dishes of all time. It was great, lots of layers and plenty of flavour, although it had the strange addition of what tasted like rosemary which I didn’t love. The pizza had a perfect base but the cheese used was incredibly pungent and hard to ignore. My mother thoroughly enjoyed the seafood pasta, and as I looked around the room she wasn’t the only one who did. Dish of the night was definitely the pumpkin and asparagus risotto, it was absolute perfection and exactly what a risotto should be.
Since dining the seasonal menu has slightly changed and some dishes may now be unavailable.

Very Disappointing. For the second time in a raw we received cold pizzas. The app online told us that our pizza was on route and estimated the delivery time after 5 min. The restaurant is less than 1 km away from my place and we received the pizzas after 25 min! All cold. Also, sizes are smaller than those in the restaurants. Highly probable that the delivery man went around before reaching our house. Definitely not worth the price for home delivery. It's a pity because the food is good but the home delivery service is not well organised.
