Icaro Wholefood Cafe

Delicious coffee and food! We were here on a public holiday weekend, the place was pumping but still got our food reasonably fast and service was friendly. We had the avocado toast, keto breakfast, açai bowl and a chocolate/peanut butter vegan cheesecake. Everything was great!

The only down side might be that the cafe is abit small so if you want to sit inside you have to wake up abit more earlier to make it lol

Great, fresh, local food. Amazing selection of beverages. Great cacao, and also offers matcha, chai & St Ali coffee.

Absolutely delicious Halloumi burger. Coffee and shakes yummy too. Taking a sourdough muffin away!

Great mocha! This cafe serves ST. Ali coffee so you don’t have to worry about the quality.

The staff was extremely friendly and the food.dont even get me started on food. I absolutely loved the food. I ordered The Avo and it was hands down the best avo smash I've ever had. Definitely recommend for breakfast if you're staying in Apollo Bay or happen to pass from the town.

Was so pleased to find a good vibe, eco-conscious cafe during a recent solo trip along the Great Ocean Road. The staff are friendly, service was efficient, and the food was simple yet delicious. Lots of vegan options on the menu & baked desserts in the cabinet, and a great range of alternative drinks with medicinal mushrooms, cacao & more. Loved my spicy ceremonial cacao! Thanks for the great cafe experience.

Best breakfast i had in my life, as i am vegetarian and i always have problem to find my food in good quality. Today, i visited with my sister. First, they are so nice and humble and welcoming and on top noch best breakfast i have in Australia Best wishes Guys

Such a delightful team here who make you welcome and love to have a laugh. Little cafe positioned slightly of the main road but supper good walking distance to the main strip. The food is amazing, fresh, homely, and fulfilling. If you are looking for food direct from Mother Nature this is the place to go. It’s rare to go for breakfast only to leave feeling comfortably full and satisfied. Well done to the team here for the care and love that they put into there meals and service.

Coffee definitely best part of our breakfast. Could not fault it. As for the food, very average & expensive at best. My smashed avocado was puréed, lots of it & hard to get through. My partners big brekkie was watery, sloppy & way too many flavours. Sorry guys. Coffee only next time.

Absolutely Devine. This place prides its self on quality and healthy food. Not your typical coastal ‘who cares’ cafe but rather one that will have you coming back again and again.

Top start to my day - nourishing vegetarian The Avo (I add an egg) and the tea is freshly brewed and ample. And nice sidewalk vibe.
Bread is just white sour dough so high GI. For wellness a multigrain or rye would be better.

This place is just stunning! It’s on the pricey end, but worth it for the quality, presentation and flavour combinations. We had the smashed avo, big breakfast and vegan crepe (best vegan dish we have tasted). Just divine!

Cute brunch place with good coffee, a little small so you'll have to go early to get a seat. Ordered the mushroom madness - the pesto was so good.

Best breakfast in town. We always go there when we are in Apollo Bay. We love the vegan options. Coffee is amazing too. Very friendly staff. Always feel welcome

Cute cafe in a town with not many other great things going on. The mushroom toast was nicely put together but way too salty to enjoy. The berry smoothie was fantastic!

Best vegan breakfast on the Great Ocean Road. Highly recommend you drop in. Lots of options for everyone & great coffee as well.

I stayed in Apollo Bay for 2 weeks & Icaro was my morning coffee & lunch destination.
Coffee was not only the best but I was always entertained whilst waiting. I loved the smoothies the salads & special board always hit the mark.
Apollo Bay may have wonderful beaches but Icaro can hold its head high as the go two destination.
I will miss you until we meet again.
