HOYTS Watergardens reviews
74Probably one of the worst hoyts I have been to. Staff seem disinterested and not helpful at all.
Went and watched Top gun omg best movie ever. I haven't been to the cinemas in a long time and wow was I impressed when walking into the cinema it was done up and the seats are so comfy and even recline and the arm space is on point I absolutely loved it and would have been comfy falling asleep if the movie had been boring but it was top gun so its obvious that was not going to be at all boring.
Great cinema for seeing larger than life movie eg Thor. Clean well spaced, good sound and wide screen
Best cinema to go to seats are comfy and screens are big. Bit costly but if don’t buy food there then it’s great
Good recliner seats, only complaint is popcorn is not fresh. Just filled with premade popcorn from bags.
The lobby looked desolate and smelled weird, but the theatre itself was great with big comfy seats
If you like paying $6 for a bottle 600ml water then go for it. It's a joke the prices they charge and I will never step foot in a hoyts cinema again. Wouldn't even honour the family ticket price. Shame on you as a company. I van buy a slab of 24 bottles of water for the same price you charge for 1. Imagine taking 4 kids and they all want a bottle?
VMAX cinema amazing screen, sound system and recliners. Facilities clean, tidy and modern.
Easy access by train and car.
Comfy chairs happy staff great to be able to go to the movie in Covid times. Please fix the small tear in screen in theatre 5
Went to see Black Widow last night with family. Great movie, great night …. Up until they turned all the nights out before everyone left the cinema. Thankfully, there were lights on the steps to guide you out. Otherwise we’d all be using our phones. I guess the person running that cinema wasn’t a Marvel fan for they should have known there would be a scene after the credits
Great facilities, reclining seats. Ticket and food prices are reasonable.
Toilets located nearby cinemas.
I would definitely go to this cinema again instead of others.
Nice clean cinemas.walked out of my movie was expecting a 'thanks for coming' but was just looked at unfortunate.
Very clean cinema, polite staff, enjoyable experience all round. Been a while since I've been here, keen to come back again soon. Thanks!
Why would you go anywhere else when you can sit in a cosy recliner seat? !
Staff are always friendly, and the convenience of booking tickets / candy bar items from the app (click and collect is AMAZING) or from the Kiosks to skip the queue is a bonus. The rewards system is so beneficial too, love the app specials for candy bar items.
Management team are also very professional and seem to always be present and hands on with their team.
It was the first time visiting here after the Covid lockdowns. It was clean and spacious. Thanks
I haven't been to the movies in over 10 years. The reckoning seats with ample room and clean made for a very luxurious experience. Will need to go again.
Currently under some renovations, but still was able to enjoy watching Demon Slayer with very wide comfortable seats. The popcorn taste good buttered and salted, just pricey as expected for the movies.
Service was friendly, they helped out when we didn't receive our print out tickets from the self- service machine.
Even going to general seats they are all recliners. The new upgrade on all cinemas at watergarden are very impressive and staff are friendly and helpful. Everthing is clean as well.
Theatre itself is good - sounds and looks nice. But that’s where the positives end.
I went to watch tenet last night - a late session. 7: 30 start.
35c day outside and it felt like it was 45c inside the theatre. The entire group of us that went could barely concentrate on the movie because of how hot and uncomfortable it was inside the theatre.
Left this place dripping sweat like I had just run a marathon.
PUT THE BLOODY AIRCON ON! It was 2 1/2 hours of torture sitting there through a 150 minute movie.
And to top it off, I was so uncomfortable that I couldn’t even follow the story of the movie.
Wasted my money and time.
