HOYTS Northland reviews
73Really nice cinema. Great seating and quality sound and screen. The theatre is really well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. A bit pricey but that's how it is a these days. I recommend going on Tuesday when all tickets are cheaper.
Always be my choice on my movie days. Staffs always try to take care all the customers. You could improve our time efficiency though, by providing self-ticketing machine as most other Hoyts cinemas do
Went for Bollywood movies
Can't enjoy due to lights on during movies
Hoyts must have to refund for tickets
Very good it used to be alright but now with the recliners its better but it is still quite expensive for some popcorn.
Bit of a shame there are no normal seats left at this cinema if on a budget. However the recliner seats are darned comfy.
Went for Bollywood movie and there was a light left on during the movie.
Whole experience was not good at all.
Not recommending as good movie place.
Very expensive like $45.00 for 1 popcorn 2cokes 2 ice creams.you can actually bring in your own food just to let people know.just no hot food like dont land in with a pizza burger and chips
Big brands and retailers are here. Prices are reasonable. But be careful of buying any electronics products or repair mobile phones by the small shops as those are not reliable.
Spent over 30 mins for adds after buying a overpriced ticket go Epping for half the price and half the adds.
Since it was renovated and they put in those leather recliners this had become a pretty decent cinema. Sound and picture quality is as good as anywhere.
Early morning on a Monday, it was quiet which explains why we only saw one person who was doing everything, selling tix at the candy bar. We didn't care, we were there to see "Freddie Mercury ". We were rocked and rapt by the show!
Theatre cleanliness was a disgrace. Hallways to theatre were covered in rubbish. Toilets were disgraceful and I pay to go to the cinema. Very disappointing.
One of the staff, Matthew had nothing but a bad attitude towards me and my son, and he sneezed in his hand before giving me my popcorn, highly unhygienic! Won't be going back if he is there!
The cinema is great and I really enjoyed sitting in the recliner. I think paying $18 to see a movie is way too expensive. For me I'm on a limited budget and they would not accept my health care card as a concession. So from now on I will probably have to ditch this cinema and head to Reading cinema.
Love this cinema it feels like home now
Comfy chairs. Now you can relax
When you go to the late night session, sometimes the popcorn can be a bit not as tasty as when you go to an earlier session
Otherwise pretty good
Ive been going here for almost 10 years and its evolved over that time and staff are great when giving due respect.
Reclining seats in every cinema! Northland Hoyts is way better than Victoria Gardens, where you have to sit close to the screen because the back half of every cinema is dedicated to Lux tickets. Northland separates Lux into its own cinemas, so you can buy the regular tickets and still sit at the back of the cinema in reclining seats!
4 young children were running in and out of the theatre yelling and laughing. They obviously had not paid. Hard to concentrate on the movie. I would also like to be able to alcoholic drinks into the the theatre and they are very expensive. 23 dollars for a beer and a picolo yellow.
I like the reclining seats. The tickets are very expensive ($19) and there are no discounted days. No children's or pensioner concessions.: - (
