HOYTS Northland reviews
73My experience there today was shocking we asked for tickets to see The Beekeeper and they gave us tickets to another movie after 20 minutes we realised this is not the right movie, The Beekeeper had been going for 40 minutes by the time we got given the right movie ticket's so in total we spent 5 1/2 hours at Hoyts Northland, I left there with mixed feelings.
25 minutes of ads.
I actually had time to write this review and consolidate my super.
So greedy.
No staff, auto ticketing machines were mostly out of order and the one that was 'working' kept trying to sell us 3 tickets instead of 2. Message says to take your rubbish away with you. What are we paying for? Why go out when you can get better service at home.
Watched The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It in Cinema 7 which had recliners that were so comfy. The screens are large and they have a good sound system. Clean cinemas and kind staff members
I tried booking through the website then tried to ring by phone and then there was still seats available then at the counter they said it was fully booked while it showed available. I've got a screenshot for all the calls and experience and when I asked AIDEN (STORE MANAGER) HE SAID IT'S A RISK TO COM TO THE CENIMAS. I'M AMAIZED THAT YOU WILL COME TO OUR CENIMAS! He should of been more inviting and not unprofessional.
Alot of talkative kids and families with babies going to Movies. I get everyone can go to movies but cinema attendance should check when noise levels get bad. Especially in move Like quiet place.
Stale 2 day old popcorn, absolutely flat mountain dew! Stay away from cafe and the cinema experience is good. Friendly staff!
Nobody in ticket office and not explained where to buy tickets so went onto online and tickets now sell on candy bar cafe but inside movie now nobody here and very nice to have movie to ourselves but seat not too clean
Nice friendly and helpful staff. The theaters are also very nice and clean. Good place to take kids during off peak hours and days, or just have a you day. Been my local go to for theaters for several years now.
Didn't actually go my Daughters went, personally I can't justify what cinemas charge, I know it's all about the experience blah blah blah.
The seats were great and way more comfy than the one in village cinemas, and the prices were very cheap only $11 on a Tuesday.
Expensive af not much change outa C note for two to view and have a snack, major rip. Otherwise fairly well laid out, ok sound systems, dunnies and comfortable chairs.
Its great! All the seats are recliners. The screens are good and sound system is superb. The normal screens are big and you wouldn't miss a Xtreme Screen experience in small screen. They are decent size.
Comfortable seats, time zone at entrance with was good for the kids, snack bar as usual. Even plush toys
SO GOOD to be back in a cinema (post covid) for a big budget action thriller (''Tenet'). Loved the recliners. Great sound but a tad too loud for me in parts
D motion recliner - watched Wonder Woman 84. Very nice ride, the vibration on very taxi, plane and actions! Recommended.eBay Tuesday with discount too.
Thoroughly enjoyed going to the cinema again after such a long break. Movie was fantastic, theatre was clean a comfortable and even though we had àn incident happen with some young people, we had a great time. Management handled the complaint about the young people very professionally and in a caring manner. Meant thanks to the young woman on duty at that tim
Best cinemas to come to hands down! Seats are recliners and don't cost anymore to use unlike other cinemas (Village). Just come here from now on, it's always a good time.
Great modern cinema. Very spacious leather reclining seats and plenty legroom. Incline easily prevents looking at other people's heads. Can recommend becoming a Hoyts Rewards member for free to gain access to discounted fares.
Hoyts has the chic feel needed when you visit the cinemas and also show a variety of foreign language films. Most of their screens are recliners which is an added bonus. Candy bar options are expensive but that's the case with all cinemas anyway. The significant issues facing hoyts are their poor cleaning and hygienic standards within the screens and an increasing level of rude staff that cannot be bothered to serve you!
