Friendly staff with a world of knowledge abd know-how. Hire of equipment and chains are available with several points in the mountain to stop where staff will fit your chains for you. Worth stopping in if you need any info or advice on where to see the most amazing snow.
Super helpful staff, great range of gear and pretty reasonable prices (same as everywhere else near the fields at least).
They go out of their way to help, explain and show you how to use everything. Free service for putting on snow chains.

36 for just a days chain hire is quite a bit more than what I paid last time in a place in Porenpunkah. Was left waiting while one of the reps kept chit chatting about random stuff with another customer and another walked out to check on something instead of helping me. Extended opening hours makes it easy to return gear.
Had a lot of dealings with the staff ftom Hoys, hiring gear, purchasing gear and getting repairs done to some damaged gear. Paddy and his team always give awesome service and are happy to help at any time. Best service bar nobody.
