Ambience was good for A Friday night but food not up to scratch for the $$$$$ it cost

Please train chef on how to cook steak and not over cook risotto

Meals were inedible, ordered fish and steak, after one mouthful, we decided to leave, as the meals were that bad, no flavour at all, fish was borderline dodgy and steak had no flavour at all, salad was dry, no dressing, no floor staff asked if our meals were ok, proceeded to counter, when asked about the meals, we were honest, the staff member went to our table, to inspect meals, was very obvious nothing had been eaten, floor manager only was concerned with the fish, and gave this meal for free, but still made me pay full price for the steak, even though that too was not eaten, was happy to pay something, but feel its very unfair to be charged for a $40 steak that I did not eat. When I mentioned that the salad was dry, I was told I should have used the small bottle of dressing on the tables which I honestly did not see, oh so $40 for a salad then, which I did not eat either. Very dissapointing, will definitely not be back. Money for nothing basically.

Always get quality service here! Julie and Renee are great to deal with. They always make u feel welcome. It's a great atmosphere and the live entertainment is always great too

Beautiful place, very social, trivia on Thursday nights is so much fun.

Customer Service was amazing, they were very attentive to our needs.

Sadly the food is not up to scratch. Steak was extremely chewy and very hard to cut even with a steak knife and overcooked, marinara was very plain, like it was made from a frozen mix, very chewy, carbonara was okay.cheesy garlic bread was the best part of the food.
$180 for 3 people; 3 mains, 6 drinks, 1 side and 2 desserts, for a pub/bar, it's extremely expensive.
But we will be coming back for trivia on Thursday nights. 7pm sign up, 7.30pm start time.
Completely free, $50 voucher for second place, $100 for 1st.
We will just be having some cheesy garlic bread next time.

Planning my wedding & reception here and I have to say, if your thinking of having one here, do it. Leonie is the lady to see. She is very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and can't do enough to help you plan your day.right down to the last detail. After speaking to her I had a clear plan of how the day will unfold. I left feeling relaxed, knowing she had everything under control.

We had a family birthday dinner and had a geeat time. The service was great and staff had a great sense of humour. Everyone lovex their meals. Will be back after Covid

Pub is ok but drinks are expensive. Food is terrible. I guess need to survive in this competitive market since there is a pub every 3 km to 5 km radius. Once very 6 months is alright.

Nice and clean interiors. The food quantity and quality was good and acceprable. The staff are welcoming and nice.
Will come back again if on the area.
The only downside was the limitation of the main courses with chicken (Parma and schnitzel is available)

It's really ok here. The food is no different to what the average person can make at home, but with the added benefit of no washing up and great drink selection.

I had the seniors 3 course meal $18.00 which consisted of lemon pepper squid entree main meal 2oog steak with pepper gravy, chips and salad. Dessert chocolate mousse. At least 3 meals to chose from. Table service unusual for a pub. There were 3 of us and we all had something different and the meals were all great. Staff very friendly.

Always love and enjoy dinner at 520. Excellent value for money and the food is fantastic with excellent service.

Not bad. But. If I was a rabbit I would have been happy with all the lettuce in the salad. Fish was nice but too much salad. Hubby had garlic prawns rice was gluggy. Not sure we would go back.

My wife and I held our wedding ceremony at Hotel520 and I have nothing but praise for the hotel, Leonie was a pleasure to work with leading up to the day. The food was wonderful, the room set up surpassed our expectations. Thank you to Leonie and the staff at Hotel520, you made our day memorable.

Mum and Dad go friday nights. They enjoy themselves so much.
Friday they won members draw.
They gave thier winnings for our little dog, Winnie she has eye sugery on Tuesday.

Great value for money and a great feed in the sports bar.just need to do something when busy as the smoke from the smoke room drifts in and the sports bar is horrible to be in for non smokers.

My partner Cameron and I always love to come here for dinner for our weekly date night! The staff are all so lovely and friendly.

A special shout out to Paige and Leonie. They're both so wonderful week in, week out!
