Hotel Lona

Food was average.
Average service, no one greeted us as we walked in, had to find our own table, and weren't told there was bar service until the end of the night when they closed off the dining area.

Hotel Lona in Frankston offers a fresh vibrant space for great drinks and food. Their rooftop provides an amazing outdoor space (especially in summer) and there's plenty of break out spots for large groups. Probably now takes the cake as the number one go to spot for food and friends in Frankston.

Advertised wood fire pizza … but it’s only a wood fire base so BYO Pizza oven to cook it properly so it doesn’t taste like Aldi frozen pizza with a bag of shredded cheese.

Unreal meal! Lona burger was one of the best burgers in Frankston. Rooftop never disappoints when the suns out!

The staff and service and food! OMG! Amazing we will be working on the Level crossing removal projects very close by and we won't go anywhere else! You are absolute superstars. We loved every minute of the atmosphere and the food omg! I have never had a better steak and the Parma was ideal! Love you guys.so glad we got to experience Lona Frankston.

Great night celebrating my daughter's birthday with family and friends. Highly recommend roof top bar.

Thought we would try the new pub in town and we weren’t disappointed. Food was good, excellent service especially from our server Kasey who also whipped up some yummy cocktails. Will be back.

I'm hoping the menu is temporary. Definitely not value for money.
Would come back if the food quality was proportional to the price. Just seems like supermarket bread and microwave oven food. Shop around and you can find much better meals for cheaper.

Getting there! Friendly staff and a great addition to Frankston. They will find their feet and we will definitely be back.

People, atmosphere and food are all outstanding. Special shoutout to the staff who helped work out the perfect pizza for me, taking into account dietary needs. Truly a place to go to again.

I realize Luna Frankston is a newish venue with lots of new (& young) staff but service & general knowledge was low. As for prices, $10.50 for a schooner of beer (it's 1/2 that in the bars 100 meter away) is exorbitant whilst chips were undercooked (and again overpriced). On the flip it's new, different for Frankston and breezy so hopefully things get better.

Just paid $16 for a pavlova desert consisting of 2 small broken pavlova cases (from a supermarket) with toppings drizzled over the top to appear fancy, served with no cream as described on the menu, 2 x dry broken cases? And a chief with an attitude and no people skills, who refused to give us cream because apparently his customers had it wrong?

Absolutely loved our lunch today and made so much better with the amazing service from all of the amazing staff and especially Laura.
