Hot Star Large Fried Chicken

My favourite Chicken place. If you happen to be in Sydney, do try the outlets there as they have other flavours such as curry, which is my fav.

If you are looking for friend chook as big as your head, you have succeeded once you step through the door of Hot Star.
Quality meat but not a showstopper in terms of flavour. Ideal for a 2am post session feed.

I got some chicken here, it was pretty good but not amazing. I enjoyed it but couldn’t eat the whole thing. Worth a try but I would probably get kfc next time.

Ordered the hotstar chicken with chilli and sweet potato fries. The chicken was indeed MASSIVE and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sweet potato fries were a bit too sickly sweet for my liking but still had a nice aftertaste.
Only downside is there could be a bit of a waiting time since there was only ONE staff member this afternoon. I commend the young female employee who did a great job at taking orders from a 10+ person queue, preparing the foods, season and packing all at the same time.however I do question why there arent at least 2 staff members during peak.especially on a busy weekend! The wait time from queuing to receiving my order was roughly 12-18 minutes.
To sum up:
Food 4/5 The hotstar chicken was good value for money, cooked and seasoned well.
Service: 4/5 Customer service. The employee was friendly and explained the menu really well.
All around a good place to satisfy fried chicken cravings!

Great fried chicken with super tasty sides.

The cutlet is delicious and normally doesn’t come with too many rib bones. The sides are all great with sweet potato fries and the fried mushrooms my favourite. Much faster cooking time compared to similar places nearby so if you are in a hurry this is the place to go.

Fell upon this place by accident, we were walking along and were drawn in by the smell of the store and just had to try it. We were definitely not disappointed, now one of our favourite places to grab something quick to eat when in the CBD.

Amazing, mouth-watering food, matched only by the enlightening demeanour of the staff. Anne & Muku are especially diligent. Both redefine the contemporary standards of customer service.

Let's face it, this is taiwanese street fried chicken, it is probably even fried rats not chicken but you don't buy it for the quality but because it is succulent delicious bad food.
