Hong Kong Best Food (Box Hill) reviews
37 Hong Kong Best Food is with the Best value also. Service is very fast and friendly at breakfast time. Thank you and I will be back.
6 is valid for this restaurant.
Reasonable priced food and friendly service, however staff should be mindful to make sure patrons do a COVID Checkin
We were weekly regulars. All of a sudden smaller servings and no where near as tasty.
Won't be back
Cheap HK style ‘cha Chan Teng’ famous with the set meal deals around $11-$13 you will get breakfast or lunch that comes with a side snack and options of the famous HK milk tea or coffee! Will I come back? The answer is no because of the staffs customer service are horrendous! One bad attitude it’s enough to deal with, but can’t tolerate with 3! Owner should look into better customer service training! There are better HK cafe out there.
Ubereats order of beef & vegetables with rice noodles not impressive. There was so much liquid that it was more like a stew, the only veggies in it is green leaves & some been shoots, where is the other veggies? No mushrooms, carrot, baby corn, capsicum, nothing! I ordered before but the baked signature dishes, i think better to stick to those specialties, which were pretty good.
Staff = fantastic
Food = amazing
I feel like. Back in HK every time I come here. (which is weekly)
Don't ever close!
Heard many good things about this restaurant before coming here but what a big disappointment! Today we have ordered Singapore noodles and curry beef brisket with rice. The Singapore noodles only contained fish cake, egg, onion, capsicum instead of pork and prawn. Curry beef brisket only had a small serving of meat on a large plate of rice. Very little meat. Will not be coming back again and will not recommended to anyone who loves hong kong food!
Whenever we walk past it's always filled with so many people so surely it must have some good food there. We decided to try it yesterday. The menu is an extensive one, plenty from A to z however when we got our food which was apparently one of their signature dishes, it came in bland and there was no taste to the chicken nor the rice. U had to add in your own soy sauce. Service wise it's ok they have plenty of staff but really the quality of food is below average.
Proper HK Cafe style food.
The food, the fitout and of course, the HK milk tea, are exactly what you'll find in Hong Kong.
Fast, direct service, busy floor and kitchen, plus HK TV on the screens.
If you're expecting restaurant quality food and 5 star service, you're at the wrong place.
Our favorite go-to for a taste of Hong Kong, even the TV plays the local news. Their French Toast is what we get every time we go there.
What kind of special recipe is this? Lemon tea with rice? Are you kidding me!?
I went here many times as I missed HK food so much, even though the quality is not really up to standard.
And i can officially say bye to “Hong Kong Best Food” now
Never again.should change the name to Hong Kong Worst Food
You get good food most of the time with occasional misses.
Need to stop showing TVB channel.
Decent Hong Kong food. Would strongly recommend everyone to try this. Best milk tea so far. Cheap breakfast place to go for.
I just come here for milk tea, the food never in standard. They don't season the meat and it smell and taste bad if you don't season it.
Went for breakfast at around 10am on a Saturday morning, it was quite busy with a bit of wait to get a table and due to the number of patrons we were asked if it was ok to share a table with another couple - we were happy to do so. No proper menu given at the table just a list of breakfast sets/specials. So if it’s your first time eating recommend looking at the big menu at the front window as we were given a chance to have another look on what dishes they had. MASSIVE variety, can be quite overwhelming. I ordered the French toast, $6.50 cant complain it was tasty and on the rich side but enjoyed it throughly. My partner ordered the breakfast set A with was butter toast and eggs and steak and a cold/hot drink of your choice. It was very average affordable price for $11 but not quite filling.
It was my favourite place to dine, delicious food and friendly staffs, lately they are under new management, everything is so different - they charge extra to custom make your meal.unfriendly staffs, defeated the nature of it's original culture. I'd prefer to dine some where else, sorry.
