44I went to the opening last week and the food was truly delicious, will definitely come back for some more vegan treats!
I work near southern cross station and was always looking for a nice restaurant/cafe style spot for lunch and coffees. I bumped across this new joint a few days and I was mighty impressed. The ambience and food was amazing. Give it a go, you wont be disappointed.
I LOVE this newly opened Home Vegan Bar in Melbourne! It is right next to Southern Cross station, so convenient to get to. Immediately you will be blown away by the décor and art on the wall. Very green, warm and welcoming.
Now let's get to the FOOD. There are so many delicious options, which are also nourishing and healthy. I have tried a few of the dishes, and some of my favourites include:
VEGAN BIG BREAKY: the tofu scramble is the BEST I have tried, and the vegan sausage tastes incredible.
NACHOS: the sauce, vegan cheese, sour cream and guac are all so good!
CHOC SMOOTHIE BOWL: beautifully presented and also tastes amazing.
TEMPEH and MUSHROOM nourish bowl: the flavours are great, very filling!
There are so many other menu items such as SMOOTHIES, COFFEES, VEGAN RAW DESSERTS, JUICES and VEGAN WINE on tap! Us vegans are in heaven at Home Vegan Bar!
My favourite new place for lunch. Lot of delicious options to choose from. Special mention to the Taco bowl - it is simply out of the world. If you’re a vegan you’ll fall in love with this place and if you’re not you might turn into one
