Wow, finally a company that really cares for our aging family members and helps them to continue to live at home. Their 10/10 genuinely caring staff gives me peace of mind knowing mum and dad are well looked after and in control of their needs in aging being met.

I was most impressed with the swift action of the Home Instead team when I needed emergency care in our home for my husband after he had a serious fall. The care was exemplary and I was able to easily cancel the service when it was no longer required.

I can honestly say that Home Instead truly fights for the rights of our loved ones to be able to stay at home. The carer’s are absolutely beautiful, magnificent people that we class as family. There is nothing that is to complicated for the workers to achieve and first time in 4 years that I can finally leave my husband to go out. I’m a hard person to place trust in others and can’t believe how quickly we all adjusted to workers coming into our lives. I CAN LIVE AGAIN. Great support from Giovanni & his team. He matched my husband up with a wonderful Carer and he has made our life so much better. Having this company provide 24hour care will enable my husband to stay at home with one on one care. I can full-fill my promise to keep him home and not go into a nursing home. My husband has been in care with young onset Alzheimer’s for 3 years. I met with Giovanni at Home Instead Senior Care (Geelong office) to try and provide a carer for my husband as at that time I and family members were taking him out 7 days a week which had become exhausting for us all. This was exhausting both emotionally and physically.
Giovanni found a carer for my husband and I took him out to meet up with both Giovanni and the carer. On that day his new carer who was a delightful man took him off for a walk to the beach. From that day on my husband has had a carer for 2 hours every Monday and Friday. He goes to the beach, has an ice cream or hot chocolate or milkshake. All his favourites, sometimes it’s a drive listening to music.
Giovanni and I discussed what he liked to do, eat and drink. I and family have been grateful for the excellent care and compassion and the thoughtful way in which this happy outcome has been achieved.
I fully recommend this company, all the staff I have dealt with have been courteous, kind and professional. My husband now has a better quality of lifestyle.

Last year in May my husband and I had a serious accident and were in hospital for two and a half months. When we were ready to go home, I had a broken neck and ankle and my husband was severely concussed with broken ribs, we needed help at home. My daughter found Home Instead to help care for us when we returned home. Their friendly representative came to the hospital to help us set up our home care. Home Instead provided home help, caregivers to assist us with everything at home, from cooking and cleaning to rides to the doctor (neither of us were able to drive). I have since recovered and my husband, who also has Parkinson’s continues to need help. Home Instead continues to provide us with extra help at home and to provide us with quality care and assistance. They have gone above and beyond to help us in anyway they can. We are both very grateful my daughter found them and don’t know what we would do without them. Home Instead really cares and is there to help, we strongly recommend them.

We had three carers calling in three times a day and all of them took a loving interest in our mother and went out of their way to give the best care they could possibly deliver. Whenever a carer was sick the gap was filled by one of the other carers and so there was a seamless consistency which ensured our mother had everything she needed and was always cared for by people who knew her. Home Instead have been an incredible help to our family’s situation. Our father had recently passed after 10 months in hospital, leaving our mother on her own in the unit. Most of the family live in Far North Queensland and we simply could not afford to come down and spend further time in Geelong, after our father’s passing. This is where Home Instead came into the equation.
Our mother decided she wanted to move to FNQ, so during the transition period of dealing with accommodation and care in FNQ, Estate, our father’s death, legal matters etc while in FNQ and mum in Geelong, Home Instead services became invaluable.
We wanted some consistent companionship for our mother, healthy meals prepared, monitoring of medication and sorting and signing important documents for us while in FNQ. The amount of scanning, signatories etc have been endless to make this move for mum run smoothly for all family members.
I cannot thank Giovanni, Jane and his team enough for the warm empathy they consistently provided and a caring, professional service.
It was well worth the money paying for such a service as our mother is still on the waiting list for my aged home care, with family living thousands of miles away.
