Home Instead Senior Care (Geelong)

I have been working for Homeinstead now for almost 4 1/2 years and have no intentions of moving on. It fills my heart working with senior's, the appreciation they show puts a smile on my face. A client today told me a few times “I’m a treasure! ” The hardworking staff are very supportive and very easy to talk to.

I started work June 2023 with Home Instead Geelong in the Ballarat region, and was very impressed with the support they provided at onboarding, as well as their continued support of me in the 7 months I have been with them since starting. Everyone I have dealt with in the office has been so lovely, and they all go above and beyond to give outstanding support to both their staff and their clients (especially Shanna up here in Ballarat). I cannot recommend Home Instead enough as both an employer and a company whose values align so well with mine in providing the best personalised support to their clients, they are by far the best company I have ever worked for, and I love the respect and hard work they put into delivering outstanding services to their clients, it makes every day at work for me an absolute joy. Kudos to Gio and Giselle for such an outstanding company, I am so proud and grateful to be able to say I work for Home Instead Geelong (Ballarat)!

Being new to Geelong I had no idea how and where to get a coordinator. Home instead Geelong was recommended. They have been very helpful with providing suppliers to make my life more comfortable and less stressful. The staff are all very friendly and do all they can to accommodate my needs. I am more than satisfied with the service they provide.

I knew that I had found the Service Provider I wanted to have care for my parent's needs from the first meeting I had with Giovanni from Home Instead Geelong. While speaking with Giovanni, his passion for what his family business was able to offer clients shone through with genuine sincerity. The paperwork to sign up Mum and Dad was straightforward, services for my parents were put in place quickly and Home Instead’s Service fees were made available, were transparent and came with no hidden costs.
Mum and Dad have been with Home Instead for about nine months now and in that time, Mum has had a new lease on life, she adores her CAREgivers and when I ask her about how she went at grocery shopping, the doctors or having companionship when doing some personal shopping she says, they help me with everything and we talk and talk and talk, it’s like we have known each other for ever. My heart bursts with happiness knowing Mum is being treated and cared for so well. One of the services Dad has in place is Gardening where someone comes to mow the lawns, the gardening providers engaged by Home Instead do a fabulous job, they are courteous, efficient and get the job done with minimal impact to Mum and Dad.
As part of client management, Mum and Dad are assigned a Care Manager. Their Care Manager is Jasmin, a gem in her own right, she has helped me so much with setting up initial services, making tweaks or adding new services as my parent’s needs change. Efficient, capable, prompt and great at offering helpful suggestions, I don’t know what I would have done not having her. She has been my sanity during some difficult times.
Not to be forgotten are all the wonderful administrative staff working hard on day-to-day tasks or keeping us in the loop to communicate service changes that may occur and we need to know about.
My experience with Home Instead Geelong from the first meeting has always been a positive one and any interactions I have had with them, I am made to feel like I am the only person they have spoken to that day.
Home Instead have gone from being a Service Provider, to our extended family. I am grateful for everything all of their staff do for my parents. I would highly recommend Home Instead Geelong to provide care for your loved ones.

Home Instead provided caring, dedicated and loving end of life support to my dad and the family. The carers were kind and sensitive to his needs and the support from the whole team was swift and reassuring.

Home Instead have been providing services for my uncle for several years. More recently his care needs have escalated significantly and the team at Home Instead have managed this wonderfully. Home Instead provide attentive and compassionate care and every one of his caregivers is reliable and friendly. The family take comfort that my uncle is receiving high level care in the comfort and safety of his own home.

I am a full time carer for my mother and recently we moved providers and switched to Home Instead. We could not be any happier with the transition. The quality of care, compassion and understanding they provide is fantastic. The office staff are very pleasant to communicate with, they work hard to match suitable carers, and listen to our concerns. They make sure charges are fair and reasonable so we can get the most out of our care plan. It's really relieving to know when mum is out with a carer she is in good hands and well taken care of.

My name is Wilma. I live alone and find there are some things I need help with. Home Instead are always there to help me when I need them. I have a gardener, Bryce, who comes once a month. He cuts the lawn and tidies up my garden. Sharon comes every fortnight to clean my unit and change my sheets. Chrissy takes me shopping every week. If I need to go to an appointment there is always someone to take me. I can't speak highly enough of Home Instead. They are a great team and I would recommend them to anyone!

Home Instead Geelong provided the most amazing care for my dad during his last few months with a terminal illness. The CAREGivers helped him at home, as well as getting him out of the house. They were so attentive to his needs, respecful during his time of need and above all made him feel very at ease receiving this care in his own home.

They also supported me during this time, even though i work directly within the Aged Care industry, until you are confronted on a personal level needing help and assistance for a loved one, no amount of experience can prepare you for the emotional roll-a-coaster ahead.

Home instead Geelong went above and beyond to assist me throughout this journey. Nothing was ever to hard, the support provided by Giovanni and all his team was absolutley amazing.

Hi! I have been with Homeinstead for a couple of months and in this short period I have found the service very rewarding.

I have been selected an extremely lovely person who is my support person at Homeinstead who organises carers etc.for my daily needs. Nothing seems to much for her. I know she is only a phone call away.

My Carers that have been sent to me are matched to my likes which makes a big difference, this enables one to live your life to the fullest and have choices of your choice. I believe this is a very important part of anyone's life.

They're only a phone call a way or call in and see them.

I was very happy with the services given for my husband. I was very happy with Giovani, he would always ask if I'm happy, and if there was anything else he could do. Also very happy with my husband's carer Mark who took good care of my husband.
