Working with holmesglen as a gardener is really stressful especially when I just got back in from recovering my hand injury and now I have a new injury which I'm not getting covered for

Started my course as online student. Course coordinator doesn't respond to calls or emails. It has been 3 weeks, she hasn't bothered replying to my simple questions. No assistance provided to students except online material. Need help to understand a topic, join some classes. No one has replied so far. Only interested in fees, very poor management.

Institute has good Covid safe methods in place. I've been attending this Tafe for the past year, and the teachers, the whole system of education, is being developed in the sense to make it more efficient for the students and courses.

SUBMITTED APPLICATION 2 MONTHS AGO. AS PER INSTRUCTIONS SUBMITTED ASSESSMENTS AND FONE INTERVIEW & 2 MONTHS HAS BEEN PASSED NO OUTCOME.

Just finished Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping at holmesglen and I highly recommend this institution. You will be trained to be job ready and fully equipped! I recently just started working as bookkeeper in a small public practice company and sometimes I feel like I am just doing one of my assessments in school and I never felt this confident before in first day at work. All thanks to my teachers, I like the teaching style of most of the teachers specially my two favorites (Ms. V Lee & Mr. G Peat) So, if you're thinking to do Cert 4 in accounting, holmesglen Chadstone will be best for you.

Called the International centre for some help and the guy who spoke to me couldn't communicate with me or help me with what I need.started getting angry at me, can you guys get people who are more professional please
this is not the first time this has happen.

Had such a great learning experience at Chadstone campus and definitely recommend to study here.
I studied Accounting course and loved that classes were relatively small around 25 (sometimes less) with very dedicated & experienced teachers. Classes were encouraged to ask questions. I felt my teachers did care about my learning progress and even general well-being. Student service provides so much support as well.

I have had a wonderful experience at Holmesglen. All my teachers have been wonderful, supportive and encouraging.

The teachers and un-educaed in the industry, they get changed every 2-3 months so you have no idea whats going on and what they expect because once you near a projects completion a new teacher decides they want something new and fresh. I wish we could all ask for our money back, would you pay to be treated like its all your fault?

Washing time for 2 years they didn’t let me go another school.just saying pay the fee or cancel your visa. I don’t like Holmesglen teachers. I wish I could go another school. Really disappointed

Mary Christmas Holmesglen This review is based on my own shocking very poor unfair experience and absolutely disgraceful attitude with Holmesglen and there staff and I will definitely be not holding back with this shocking experience and negligence to address my complaints with there own complaint policy’s correctly.well started off on a good start with being dealt a $8500 debit from Centrelink due to Centrelink getting informed off Holmesglen that it was part time instead of full time. Myself and the state government have DHHS case notes and a financial record to prove I was a student but not holmesglen as well as I had enrollment form work handouts timetable ect.due to being in foster family a social worker case notes where taken but Holmesglen will not acknowledge any of that why Coz they don’t want to admit there wrong or cannot fix up the mistake Judy Gallen made. Debbie Banninger. Messing me around saying it was Chisholm well my recommendation for you is best you study a bit of history or if you do not seriously know why comment. Your attitude I found was the most disgraceful. Next we have Mr Steve Voudouris comes across a very nice polite gentle man who makes a time to call you but never dose that’s why I ended up complaining to mp Gayle Tierney office lovely receptionist she has.thank the lord for that
as i was not getting anywhere as I was forwarded on to Conrad Macdonald acting manager phil D’Adamo director executive of department of education and training and then I was forwarded back on to Holmesglen complaints what a absolute disgrace that was.not only did Holmesglen breach there own complaints policy but it doesn’t stop there best Lesley Robertson do not lie to past students or present as I have proof of her lies.as for the director executive Susan McKinnon to give a past student a conflict of interest on a appeal is a disgrace might have to do with a Change in there complaints policy early this year is a joke well Mary faraone what a lovely school you run who ever you are oh wait your that ceo from Holmesglen who never took my complaint as for a few intelligent people on this earth this big fail of especially from a ceo I think and this would be a complete fail on Holmesglens behalf on how to take a simple complaint thank god for other schools out there would never dare treat any past or present student like the treatment I received regarding my complaint this review is based on my own experience from Holmesglen and is a permanent Mark in my eyes regarding my complaint and policy breaches and definitely none of my children or family members will be attending Holmesglen ever.

Joke. Only interested in making money. Most of the teachers either dont want to be there or are not qualified to be there. Zero interest in helping out someone when they truly need it.
DO NO ATTEND THIS TAFE!

I studied here fo r3 years in total Cert IV Diploma and Advanced diploma.

- Out of all of this i wasn't taught any video design,
- we had 3-4 different teachers for website design so ovbioulsy i left not knowing the basics of website design as the teachers were swapped out regularly and mass amount of lasses were missed (no refund or outside services offered for a $8000 course)
- The teachers would forget what they said last week and completely scrap your ideas so you are continuously re-designing whole projects (some artwork takes over 100hours)
- There were a few good teachers who knew what they were doing.
- Others looked like they had no industry experience what soever and were telling us that plastic wont be used in manufacturing? !? !?
- A week due to finish my course one teacher (Deb, the teacher who constantly forgot what she said) came over to tell me i would need to completely re-create my packaging as it shouldn't be made in plastic even thought for 3 weeks she had no problem. I had even started to sign the back of my work with the notes she was saying. Not liking what is aid she went and got the co-ordinator and I was then kicked out of Holmeslgen because i refused to take the nonsense feedback she provided.

If you don't believe this look on seek, their are graphic design teacher positions posted regularly as they cant maintain the expected curriculum

Save yourself the money and invest it into a proper University because Holmesglen is not worth it. The administration department doesn’t know what they are doing. I’ve tried to change schools but they’ve claimed that I am not even a student there. Mind you I’ve studied 3 full semesters there.
They like to sent multiple threatening letters and threaten you with deportation because you haven’t payed the fees two weeks prior to the actual due date. Half of the students don’t speak or understand basic English but somehow they pass every subject. The business degrees are tailored for paying Asian customers and if you are not one of them you just fail for no reason. Some of the teachers can’t be bothered marking your work, so you don’t really know how you are doing until you get your final mark.

Half of the business subjects are not even offered and you end up studying random business subjects just to complete the 4 subject requirement. Worst place to study

Very disorganization institute.schools start without reciveing any email and timetable.then after 3 weeks of school, we are reciveing huge number of sudent that missed out on class.my classes are in building 1 to 5.takes 15 mins walk from this end to the other end to walk between class.sometime we go to class and we see our class is taken by another class or the class don't show on online timetable and rooms number in timetable is wrong.i have 4 teachers and 3 of them is outstanding and there is another teacher that do explain things and if we ask question.says refer to the book and improve your reading skills.i would highly recommend you not to come in the tafe.
