I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible experience I had at Holmesglen, Chadstone. My journey here was nothing short of wonderful, and I would like to extend my thanks to everyone who played a part in making it so.

First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my tutors, Carly and David. The course I undertook was undoubtedly challenging, but with your unwavering help, encouragement, and support, I managed to achieve my goals. Your dedication to your students does not go unnoticed, and I am truly thankful for your guidance.

One of the aspects that made my experience at Holmesglen Chadstone so delightful was the friendly environment. From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I felt welcomed. The cafes were a great place to unwind, and the people who work here are exceptionally warm and helpful.

In conclusion, I believe that Holmesglen Chadstone is one of the best places to study. The supportive staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent facilities all contributed to a memorable educational journey. I couldn't have asked for a better learning experience.

Thank you once again for everything.

This institution is one of the worst place to study and get your qualification. Last year on October I attended for open day session and the course coordinator told me the last day for the enrolment is 23th February 2023. However I did my enrolment before 23th and I got a call from the coordinator and telling me the admission is closed for this semester.

What kind of misleading information does the teachers are providing for students?
Do you guys think students coming to your college to study and pay theirs fees are absolutely stupid and you can trick them?

Guys please do not waste your time in this college. The teachers are thinking about their own profit and knows the ways to rip everyone off.

I did part time evening class beside my work. It has been a great experience.
Comparing to my uni experience, I find them highly responsive and resolve issues very quickly including IT issues and student service.

AVOID AVOID AVOID (Wish i could give zero stars as one star is way more than this business (yes business, not education provider) deserves.

Doing Diploma for Building and Construction online. No communication between teachers. When i ask for help i get nothing. The messages back feel automated. Modules don't come in time. No zoom classes to support us. False promises just to get me signed up i.e you can come and join evening classes etc but then they don't back it up. Go somewhere else, i would stay away from this place. They'll talk the talk but not walk the walk. You're just a number they wanna sign up to get money from.the government. They don't care about providing a good education. They've given me nothing but stress and sleepless nights.

I would strictly advise not to attend here. They fail students for profitability reasons and have a significantly lower standard of education aswell as educators compared to other institutions. They insist on making copious amounts of money at the expense of vulnerable international students. There is also no process set in place foe dispute management and the individual lecturers alter the coursework with their own discretion.

If you value your sanity and your precious time and resources DO NOT ATTEND HERE OR RISK THEM FAILING YOU CONSTANTLY TO KEEP YOU PAYING THEM.

Would rate zero stars if I could. Absolutely unacceptable for any insititution.

This school has the worst teachers they bully students they are not flexible with helping students who have families at home, they treat older adults like secondary school children and make you beg just to get a good grade, its a completley worthless school am glad i left that school and went to a Univeristy.my advice dont go there

Doing Cert 4 Cyber Security has been a nightmare at this Tafe. Every term I have had to email several times to several different people regarding my timetable being changed, unauthorised withdrawn from classes, double booking classes, missing classes, re-enrolling in classes, etc. You would think that a student starting a particular course, at a particular time/date would have their timetable mapped out already for the duration of the course. But this is not the case at Holmesglen. They even try to blame me that I must have not turned up to a class or I didn't hand in the required work, but I have attended every class and handed in required work. Very unhappy with this Tafe.

I am currently studying here (Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship)

The facilities and the staff here are trash. Nobody knows what they’re doing and people are not doing their job correctly. I hate this school and I’ll never study here again or recommend it to anyone.

Studying Nursing, I feel the course is disorganised and not planned out well. It is a joke to get placements being in such as demanding occupation. I am also disappointed at the lack of skills that were transferable from my Diploma of Nursing to my Bachelor and I feel like I am redoing my Diploma at times. I only chose this university because of its location and for a different opportunity being from regional Victoria originally, but i definitely will not be going back in future.

My whole experience with holmesglen so far has been a mess. Massive lack of communication. They won't even tell me when the term breaks are. They said they would send me a link to a recording of the orientation I couldn't attend and they never did. They didn't tell me some of it was to be delivered remotely until I called up and asked where my class would be on my first day because the timetable is unclear, and then they couldn't tell me how to access it online. When you call up they say "I can't help you". When you email, no reply. They send out generic newsletter type emails offering help and when you reply to those with questions, no reply. The teachers often don't listen, don't help, can't help/don't know what they're talking about, and don't reply to emails, or only half reply.

Such a huge contrast to Melbourne Polytechnic which I had a great experience at.

I wouldn't recommend studying IT/cyber security at Holmesglen.

Recently completed the HSR Initial OHS training course, , Great trainer who had years of experience in this area which was a bonus as he shared his experience and knowledge which made the course more interesting and gave it more insight, Highly recommend

Makes no attempt to adjust course material to be more appropriate for at home study. Outdated and overly complicated online services.

International student service desk is horrible, have to wait 1hr + every single time even there's no one else waiting beside myself.

Nothing short of a horror show
While individual staff members tried to help, it would be near on impossible to get a straight answer from anyone
Their systems were all over the place
It was a Kafkaesque experience dealing with these people

My experience at Holmesglen so far has been amazing. Im currently studying as a dental assistant through government funding. I've been studying for over a month now and having Carmel as a teacher has made my experience of learning at Holmesglen very easy. Her support has been there from the start going above and beyond making sure all students understand. The classes are fun which makes it easier to learn. I couldn't be happier. Holmesglen has invested alot of money into dental equipment which students can learn practical. It's amazing. Can't recommend enough.

Not crowded and following all covid-19 guidelines issued by government.
Open for new session and classes are started.
It has paid parking in less you are visiting someone from the staff and you have to book for the parking.
Mask are mandatory inside the building.

Don’t study a degree here unless you’re using it as a pathway/back door into another, more professionalised institution.

I tried to enrol in a government funded course, but the English part of preliminary test was quite confusing and illogical, and no way to obtain support for those unclear questions; not to mention the technical glitches which formed part of the software platform. So they informed me my English is subpar level 2 which is incredulous considering I have no major issues with reading and writing.
