What a cracker! The food was amazing and all-locally sourced. Then there’s the staff, warm friendly and extremely attentive, especially Ann. Will be back.

Fresh and interesting local produce cooked creatively - with delicious results. Friendly and efficient service. Beautiful setting and a scenic drive into the bargain. Well worth a visit to show off regional Victoria. Two hats. Five star!

Finally got here and it did not disappoint. Like much of the hospitality industry they are doing it tough due to COVID, but the two ladies serving us were outstanding. Kicking myself I didn't get their names. Food was amazing and such a great atmosphere. Couldn't fault a thing. Already planning my next trip back.

Full beautiful 6 courses lunch, nicely set menu, make sure don’t have a big breakfast if you consider to have the full 6 course lunch menu which is highly recommended! It change very week. Make sure you book in advance!

Food was plentiful but we had the breakfast and it was cold the only thing we got warm was extra toast, very nice place

It was OK. The food was good but not exceptional and sadly it’s not at the level that justifies the fairly steep price point. It’s an expensive night out so you expect a high quality experience. We didn’t get that and the restaurant isn’t at the level that Sardine is at, for example, further down in Gippsland in Paynesville. Service was uneven from the two servers who were rushed off their feet it seemed. The older man who served us was rather sour and only perked up when we were leaving and didn’t tip. The concept of locally sourced fine food is good. It’s terrific too that the wine list lists local wines and other assorted Victorian wines. Here’s hoping that things pick up and the concept and food quality aspirations becomes fully realised.

Lovely lunch - chose the 5 course degustation and every dish was lovely and beautifully presented. Most items sourced within 30km. The inside of the venue itself was ok, nothing fancy. The staff were nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

First time visiting and we had a beautiful date night dinner. We chose the “Let Trev Cook For You” experience and enjoyed every part of it. Each dish was unique and thoughtful, using tasty produce. The dessert was an absolute standout, including the BEST fig I have ever eaten.

I was most impressed by the overall volume of food. So often with degustation-style menus you find yourself full before the main arrives, however this menu was light enough to feel blissfully satisfied at the end of dessert.

Extensive local wine list, great atmosphere and attentive staff topped off the night. We will come back for a lunch so we can enjoy the view from the beautiful windows.

One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Trev’s five courses were delicious, perfectly timed and beautifully presented. The lone vegetarian of our group was presented with fabulous no fuss alternatives (made us a bit envious). Staff were attentive and helpful, the venue was beautiful and the view of the kitchen fascinating. Thanks to all!

If you are around, a MUST GO restaurant in the area. WHAT A VIEW! Great compliment with the delicious food. We particularly love the entrees and desserts. Friendly staff.

A wonderful selection of locally sourced food and drinks prepared in an open kitchen by Trev and his great team of helpers. We had a lovely night and really enjoyed the food.

This place is a real hidden gem. Lunch was sensational- we did the 5 courses (“let Trev cook for you”) - all the dishes were thoughtfully created and beautifully presented. We need to come back to try all the other dishes.
Service was relaxed and friendly. The views over the vines are stunning.
