We were pleasantly surprised about Hogget Kitchen! The prices for food and drink were as expected, and the atmosphere was great. Food was of high quality and portion size was enough. Not our everyday type of dining but a great place for that special occasion. Parking was a touch tight and there was no lights to help us navigate back to our car afterwards. The outlook was beautiful as well. You will enjoy your time there for sure.

My wife and I had a superb anniversary dinner here last night. We had the four-course meal and the food was exceptional. One of most memorable dining experiences. Location was picturesque and worth the drive.

Attended a group dinner meeting at Hogget Kitchen last night and cannot speak highly enough of the experience! The food was absolutely DIVINE, as was the wine and service, venue and views. I’m going to dream about the food for quite some time. My only issue is that with the dishes changing weekly, I’ll never get to eat those exact dishes again (I have no doubt I’d feel the same way about any future dishes there too). A must try experience.

Delicious lunch with great service and beautiful atmosphere. The food was interesting and well balanced, the lamb was incredible! Our waitress was lovely and attentive, and the interior was gorgeous and has a terrific view. Highly recommend

Modern restaurant decor with large windows overlooking the winery. Very comfortable and relaxing. Using local produce with a menu that changes based on availability. Very good food especially for the location.

Absolutely stunning location, sweeping views of the winery on site and exceptional service from staff. Food was light and delicious, am surprised this restaurant doesn't have an extra hat.

If you are ever passing by or wanting to make a day trip… Hogget is the place to go!

2 hours, 4 course degustation menu, $90 pp. We left feeling satisfied, and having tried some things we normally wouldn't even consider choosing on a menu. Portions were enough, food was impeccable but then we don't eat fancy very often so don't have a lot to compare to. Gorgeous views and atmosphere. Half star deduction for a snooty waitress. If it's in your price range, can recommend for the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hogget Kitchen, just out of Warragul, in West Gippsland. The six course menu featured local and sustainably sourced foods, even apples from Chef Trev's farm. From start to finish, each plate was full of flavour, and thoughtfully put together. A few of my favourites included house made Rabbit parfait and Riette, Wild Venison Mortadella, Chef Trev's version of Chicken and chips featuring cockerel, Yukon Gold potatoe chips and charred lettuce and the stunning dessert. I am looking forward to my next visit and the anticipation of surprise after surprise appearing on my plate. Thank you Team Hogget Kitchen.

Hoggits kitchen was amazing. Congrats to the team. Afterwards went into the cellar which was very dissapointed as we greeted rudly and snobbishly as we walked in. Thank you

Food was well thought out and some of it very delicious. Yet one Male waiter was so hostile, snobby vibes and rude. Possibly because we had kids with us, who were very well behaved or because we didn’t fit into the preconceived idea of their ideal customer

My husband and I dropped in here on a local drive, best decision ever. We were told it was a fixed menu on greeting, that was a little more that we would uasualy spend. But the food and service we received was way better than we have had in a long time. We had the 4 course menue that was exquisite.

Dining room had a beautiful sunlit ambiance. Staff were friendly and attentive. The focus on local produce and suppliers was foundational to all aspects of the experience. The 'snacks' (aka appetisers) were delicate and imaginative. The calamari pasta entree was overly complex to our pallet. The main of roast lamb was textbook perfect with a beautifully textured Jerusalem artichoke shepherds pie.

Dining to the next level. From mouth watering dishes, to top quality service, friendly staff (including welcoming chats from the chefs themselves) & surrounded by beauty. A real gem reflective of Gippslands greatest pleasures.
