Generally, all went well. I was engaged for a casual assignment at the Royal Melbourne Show. Initially there were a couple, of disconnects between the information we received directly form The Show organization and what we were receiving form HOBAN. After a couple of calls/emails to TUA these were quickly clarified. In all I was very pleased with the engagement.

I have now had the pleasure of working on 3 major assignments with Hoban. Each involving large-scale contracts. On every occasion I have been amazed by the Hoban Team’s ability to mobilize and assemble an appropriately qualified workforce, provide training, and seamlessly deploy them on a massive scale. The staff at their Laverton office seem to have this process down to a fine art. I have had the pleasure of dealing Katie, Michelle and Ramu, all of whom are consummate professionals. Recently I had the opportunity to work closely with Katie who was in charge of a major contract with a staff of 100+. I felt like I was in safe hands, Katie had a genuine interest in her Temps, she was also a dream to deal with due to her efficiency, communication style, she was organised, professional and made my experience on this particular project thoroughly enjoyable. I must add that the added bonus is that I got to work directly with some truly lovely people as well.

The communication by Hoban for my recent placement at the Melbourne Royal Show was thorough and timely.
After some initial delays, once we got into the placement it went well. The clock on/off rostering app was easy to use.

Hoban, are a great job and placement agency to work for, the staff are qualified and courteous, and don't treat you just like a number, I was fortunate enough to be placed with a top notch company straight away, and I am sure that if that initial job ended, they would do all they could to accommodate me with another employer. I have had dealings with the top management and the recruitment people who work for Hoban and I am so glad I got in contact with them for work assignments.

I am in my second year of working for Hoban. I enjoy the children on the crossing and I can see myself doing this for many years. Olga is very helpful when I need to call her about anything relating to the crossing. The extra money that I earn from the crossing does not affect my pension and I am now able to afford to take my grandchildren to the movies and to give them birtnday gifts, not to mention going out for coffee with friends. It is only 10 hours per week and it has changed my life for the better

It's very rewarding being a school crossing Supervisor. The children and the parents including the school staff are very appreciative of the community suppprt to keeping all safe on the crossing. It's also the general public who see me on the crossing that are happy to use it too.
Currently i am away unwell and I've heard that after the first day of my absence the children complained that i wasn't there and they miss me. It's lovely knowing how content and safe they feel when i am there.
I miss them too.
I look forward to all their friendly faces when i return.
