Hightail

Went to trivia night tonight in a large group and one of my friends ordered a serving of chips. The aioli sauce served to us was in too small of a bowl so I went over to the hightail grill kitchen area to ask for extra sauce and the whole kitchen staff was extremely rude. Immediately after I went there they all stared dead into me and gave a lot of attitude and said that they dont take anymore orders. I asked if I could get more sauce and a lady from the kitchen came out and said "you actually need to pay for it" in an extremely rude way and gave me dirty looks. I understand when workers want to finish up when the kitchen closes but I didnt think that asking for a small portion of sauce isnt a huge task, furthermore, I didnt have to be spoken to in such a rude way, especially when I havent been rude to any staff. For customers to be treated like that is highly unprofessional. Definitely ruined trivia night for me. Would not recommend ordering any food from their kitchen.

Good place and ambiance, Staff food everything, their Chicken fried burger is good must try. I think they can really improve way they pack burger and wrapping material as well. (Mr Burger)

Great pub just downstairs from the office. Perfect for a quick drink or dinner with the group of friends.

Everyone who works here is super friendly and always pour your drinks with happiness. V bubbly and when it's super hot in melb they always remember to offer you water in between drinks! It's just really nice to hang here and be greeted with a smile everytime you go to the bar:)

My colleagues and I stop by every Friday to grab a drink. They've a good selection of drinks and it's great that you can order them via the app.

Always a buzz here. Great spot near the Docklands. Most likely the best bar around here, it's always very popular.

We celebrated our work Christmas Party at Hightail and could not have been happier with the quality of the space, the food, drinks and the staff! The Functions Manager, Erin, was incredibly helpful and made the organising process so simple and straight-forward, we had nothing to worry about with our party in her hands! A big thank you to Hightail for a fun night!

Excellent venue for our company Christmas party. The Hightail staff were brilliant and very helpful. Would defiantly recommend for any sort of event.

Love the fact that you can order via an app here. Great choose of beers. Good idea to book if there is more than two of you on a Thursday afternoon

Great spot to grab drinks after work! Huge area and great vibe. Prices could be slightly reasonable.

Decent enough place but is noisy and the happy hour prices aren't the most generous. Went there as a central catch up with friends but not my preferred venue.

As always over crowded on a Friday evening but its really a good place for a drink. I really enjoyed the place.

The team here are sensational - particularly Erin and Gemma! Held an event here for the second time now and am consistently blown away by how friendly, straight-forward and no-nonsense the team are. I work with a lot of venues around Melbourne and these guys are my absolute favourites. Also the bar is great and the food is awesome, we always have good feedback from guests on both. Many thanks!

Cute bar in a corporate location, far end of Collins.closer to Docklands so that means after 6.30pm, parking is free and lots of it on a Friday night. Music was standard combination of new age and classic pop, rnb, rock. Bartenders were friendly. Good place to catch up after work.
