Hide and Cheek Cafe reviews
31 Popped into this cute little cafe for lunch whilst waiting for a flight. They offered us the breakfast deal of a bacon and egg english muffin with a hashbrown and coffee. We grabbed the deal ($13 what a steal) and the B. L. A. T sandwich.
I didn't have any expectations but I was blown away at how good both were - simple but perfectly executed and delish.
First cafe owner in Melbourne to see our laptops come out, smile at us and offer us wifi immediately (We usually hotspot for convienience).
10/10 Thank you for the friendly service and yum food.
It's been our local, live just up the street. Awesome breakfast, awesome coffee, rustic interior, good prices and very good little cake things to take home for afternoon snack.
Worth stopping by if in the area
Lots of people go to Acland St but not many can find a gem like this place a bit of a walk from there. Simply one of the best soy chai latte I've ever had and the food was GREAT. Do visit, you won't be disappointed
Masking tape is not coffee proof. Was delivering order from here and that's all they put on it. Put glad wrap on it or something. The order spilled and customer was upset.
The breakfast. Oh Lord the breakfast. It is incredible and worth every penny. I love to cook but the quality here far exceeds my culinary capabilities. I would get breakfast here every day if I could.
Cafe gives preferences to take away orders. Came for a breakfast on Saturday to dine in. Despite only 2 other customers inside was waiting for 15min for coffee and 45min for eggs with bacon. Food is alright, but if you want to visit this place plan your time accordingly, best to not visit if hungry
Delicious and fluffy pancakes. Would have love chai with leaves, however their piccolo didn't taste great either
An amazing local Cafe that serves top notch coffee and foods, despite affordable pricing. The staff are super friendly, down-to-earth and prompt with the service. The ambience is also great with the big windows for some natural lights. Highly recommended.
By far the best Cafe in Melbourne! The food is excellent and the customer service is impeccable. Great place to take dogs and the family. I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it
The brunch here was phenomenal, one of the best I've had in melbourne. The morning breakfast burger was amazing, absolutely have to order this if you come here. Good price points, amazing owners, fantastic coffee, cosy environment. 10/10.
Love this local cafe, the most amazing fried chicken burger (Korean style) and great coffee. Always lovely service. Definitely check this place out and support your local cafe.
Small town local cafe with good eats. Ordered the fried chicken burger with generous fillings and a side of chips as well as an eggs Benny. Delicious.
Ordered Uber eats
- eggs on toast with sides was exactly as described. Well cooked, simple and fresh. Exactly what you want in terms of reliability and flavour.
I haven't been to this cafe for maybe 7 years but I just wanted to write this because I used to work at the bike shop across the street, and would get the salmon patty sandwich for lunch and I still think about it on a weekly basis it was that good.
Wow! This hidden cafe has provided an amazing breakfast experience. The barista was super lovely and made me a delicious coffee. I have also ask for a halloumi-avo croissant and it was just perfectly cooked to have the 'melty' consistency without being too hot. 5 stars and definitely will be back!
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent coffee, warm place definitely I will back on my next visit to Melbourne
Great breakfast. Had the diy eggs (poached) on sour dough + avocado + salmon + bacon + home made hash brown. Plus a couple of home made chais with almond milk. Boom. Goodbye hangover
Great coffee, great food, relaxed quiet atmosphere.
Really the food here puts other quite good cafes to shame. From the burgers to the chilli scrambled eggs to the ham, cheese, tomato toasties.just perfect.
Great cafe, hard working chef & owner and super friendly staff that are courteous and appreciative of your visit. Food is terrific, love the smashed avo toast which has crushed beetroot which tastes so good. Coffee is always good and it has a nice open space and tables. Recommend.
