Hidden Valley Golf & Country Club reviews
64Awesome course very forgiving mostly wide fairways, greens were a little slow for this time of year, must attack the pin when putting. A long course if hitting from the back markers, really enjoyed the layout, lucky we had carts as it is a Very long walk, the back nine is a bit more challenging and has more water to contend with, if you haven't played here come and give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Sorry I should have taken a photo of the Island green (18th).
One of the best golf courses in the north. I'd happily play here time and time again, not even stressing if I go through a bag of balls. The course is always in fantastic condition and a pleasure to play
We had my husbands, sisters funeral ceremony at Hidden Valley last Monday, and found your restaurant very good and the refreshments afterwards, including Staff very good. Hope to come back for a dinner again soon, under different circumstances.

Well maintained, quiet and beautiful. Kids loved it
Great place indeed. Will definitely come back again in a couple of months. Brand spanking new cosy apartments. Great, cheerful, friendly, dedicated and committed staff
Good prices.
Keep it up guys and maintain the standard
What an excellent game at Hidden Valley golf course! Nice green, peaceful fresh air with many kangaroos nearby, chanlenging holes with lakes, Surely we will come back?
Interesting track. MUST have a cart.
Youre crazy if you don't and youll thank me when you do.
Course is in very good condition for winter. Let us great with some challenging holes. They had all the appropriate Covid-19 checks in place. It was really good speed with only groups of two
Challenging course with tough dog legs. The man-made lake that dissects the 12th, 16th and 18th holes inflates ones score, if you miss the fairways. Beautiful scenery with lots of kangaroos about, especially the hordes of them sunbaking as you walk up the hill to the 11th tee. The 9th and 18th Par 3's are short but you must navigate the lake. Greens are super quick, especially if you're teeing off at sunrise. An enjoyable course, just be prepared to lose a few balls in the water.
Played 18 holes for the first time last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the layout and condition of the course. Far exceeded our expectations.and will certainly visit again. Only flaw was most bunkers had water in them as it had rained heavily the day before but were GUR so really didnt matter. Great people and beautiful new Resort building and amenities.
Has been done up superbly inside the club house. Bar and restaurant options are the best in the area by far. A little pretentious, but that's what Hidden Valley is all about.
The Grove Restaurant and Bistro, elegant comfort, attentive helpful staff, delicious fresh food. Fabulous. Function rooms; same elegance, attention to detail, makes special events, more special!
Resort and Golf course side of things great.
But the staff who run the Golf section are very rude and blunt.
I went in inquiring about fees, course map etc as i am a beginner. I was treated like they didnt want to know me and like I had done something wrong.
Not sure if it is due to my Ethnicity but it sure did feel like that was a factor.
Its the first time I had ever experienced something like this and sure do hope its the last.
Golfing staff need an attitude adjustment!
$30 for 9 holes on a Sunday when the greens are completely f#%ked from ducks digging & s#%tting is a joke. I can play for a 3rd the price for the same greens at Kilmore or pay $29 for 18 holes at Mandalay on a Sunday which is in awesome condition and is ranked 59th in Australia. Probably not going back unfortunately because it’s so close.
Could have been a decent game of golf but instead, a waste of money.every single green is inundated with a mixture of bird/animal droppings and the playability of the course is ruined by this very matter, yet when mentioned to the less than enthusiastic staff at the "pro, I'm wearing golf clothes" shop the reply is simply meh. 0/10, wont be back again and id suggest an attitude adjustment is in order for these so called employees.
The restaurant & bar called the grove are great not a big selection of food on the menu but the food that's on there are very tasteful and generous portion sizes and a big selection of wines and spirits I highly recommend booking in advance as it is a very popular place
First time on the course but it was great haven't played for a while was a good course to play.
Fantastic! Great dining, terrific surroundings. Couldn't fault the staff. Second time there, will certainly be back!
Very impressed with service and food. Will definitely be going back! Loved the atmosphere, and the chairs were particularly comfortable which was a bonus. Would be perfect for a wedding reception too. Well done Hidden Valley!
Beautiful surroundings, wonderful walks (& great golf course). Stunning place to live and visit
A great country course. Got some real challenge to the holes, including teeing off onto an island.
