Hibiki / Haiku reviews
37Got to try their braised chicken roll, really good! Chicken was nicely braised and pulled, with a good creamy sauce.
The most delicious food, yummy coffee/cakes and friendly team of people:) Thank you Hibiki! You guys are the best x
I had to get this delivery thanks to Covid but even after its little adventure the food looked really well presented! Really delicious and I am looking forward to trying some more things on the menu to get me through this current lockdown:)
Very tasteful Japanese food. Had Hibiki Oko recommended by staff and Green Tea Latte for lunch. Chatted with a very friendly waitress like a family member, very satisfied!
We went there for dinner last week. Yes they do serve dinner! The food was amazing. We had the Mentai Udon Pasta and Omi Rice. We also ordered Chicken Karage and charred edamame as appetisers. One thing to note that the Omu Rice is not exactly using tomato based sauce, more like a bolognese sauce, but overall fantastic dinner.
Food is great however they are not able to keep up with the demand. I had to go back 3 times to get my takeaway order right on a busy Saturday morning. No apologies from them for getting the order wrong, instead they told me its good I checked it.
Edgy little restaurant in Camberwell. Great food, friendly staff. Will go back to try their breakfast
Best cafe in Camberwell. Food is very different to other places, good vibes on the music front too:)
Atmosphere 5/5, the best place to go with either a small bunch of close friends or for a date. Okonomiyaki is the highlight of the night, highly recommended. From small dishes to the dessert, all high standard.
Very friendly happy team here, great food and coffee. Heaps of interesting drink choices, Hōji chai was very interested. Multiple flavours breakfast choices from light to heavy, good portion size for sharing.
Wonderful Japanese Cafe which offers a range of food and drink options. Unique breakfast as well as an expert coffee menu.
Wonderful food in an intimate setting at a good price. Very much enjoyed my visit and will be back again.
Had the shredded beef cheek with poached eggs and the Japanese curry with chicken. Not only was the food fantastic and beautifully presented, but it was one of the best coffees I've had in years (ordered a strong oat latte). The staff were also lovely and welcoming and very helpful when asked for their recommendation on what to order. My partner and I will be making a regular habit of coming to hibiki when we want to treat ourselves to a nice brunch
Excellent food including delish vegetarian options (sushi burritos are amazing!) and the staff are absolutely lovely. It does get very busy so, if you're in a rush, call up and order in advance or be prepared to wait up to 15-20 minutes at peak times.
This cafe makes the most delicate coffee with the best froth! The soy milk is really creamy and thick, just like the Japanese ones!
An amazing creative space with great people, great food and great coffee; progressive, forward thinking and innovative. Staff are attentive and make you feel part of something special. Some places just have it!
Very cool cafe business! Hibiki is very well developed and well branded. The concept of the business is super Japanese oriented and very cool! They also have an online store selling merchandise. Hibiki also has its own branded coffee blends and other Japanese tea products. The food and coffee are both great while the price is considered good value for what you get.highly recommended and no wonder there is always a long queue outside this cafe.
