Nice place to stay, owner is very accommodating and friendly. Close to all cafes and Woolworths.

Room very out dated, definitely needs an overhaul, reno or rebuild. Room was not clean, bathroom looked unclean, bathtub/shower definitely needed a good scrub really dirty, blanket covers stained, we tried to stay out of the room for as long as we could during the day, only to return for sleep.
If you want a great break away with your family and return to a pleasant temporary home away from home, this is definitely not the place to come to!

Left stranded on Easter Sunday!

Booked directly through Heyfield Apartments approximately a month before Easter. Booking wasn’t managed by hotel (older gentleman who took the call). Arrived at 7pm to find out there was no booking (or vacancy being Easter).

Long and short of the story, left driving to Bairnsdale as there was no accomodation in Lakes Entrance.

Bed and pillows too soft. Noisy rooms. Could hear next room and room above all night long. Conversations, toilet flushing and footsteps. Shower floor very slippery so beware older people. I felt unsafe everytime I showed. Several lights in room not working.

Smelly, practically nothing works, definitely will not be back. Not worth the money, nor the time and effort to get here. Most disappointed.

Great place.central.good rates.clean and tidy.had a lovely night dip in heated pool all to ourselves.beautiful.

No frills accommodation thats at a really good price point for location. Everything was comfortable, service was great.

Probably the best value motel of my journey (had a special running). Very large and spacious room. Tea/Coffee making facilities. Comfortable Bed. On site parking

Well cleaned, nice staff, really good place. But heating system need to improve. Second room didnt have heated blankets.

Excellent place for families. Clean, great amenities, very accommodating staff, close to the jetty, close to the play area, close to shops. Definitely gonna come back here.

This motel was amazing. Not only is it cheap, but the services in the rooms as well as the staff are great.

We lived in family room with two bedrooms but price is really worth. Very quilt place. Location is very close restaurants, supermarkets and good to see dolphins in early morning. Stuff are very friendly and give us a lot of advertising. High recommend.

I always stay at Heyfield, amenities are first class and I’m treated as a friend. I’ve stayed at other motels in The Lakes and at sometimes twice the price, but Heyfield is by far the best.

Arrived early (45mins) and was told to come back at 2pm as room wasn't ready. Returned at 2.15pm and the room was still not ready. The Manager had to assist the cleaners and we waited another 20 mins before we could get into the room. The Manager advised that they were having issues with their cleaning staff and that our situation was not an isolated one. On advising, that while empathetic to the situation, it was not something that guest should be disadvantaged by. The Manager (who advised that up until recently was the main cleaner) offered to give me the contact details of the owner (new management) and I advised that it was her role to contact the owner and pass on my details. Too date I have not heard from the owner.
The room was large and looked clean. The bathroom was fine however the bedspread had what appeared to be texta/pen marks on it and on sitting down, biscuit crumbs/chips (I hope that was all it was) revealed themselves en masse. We removed the bedspread. The room was ill equipped with only one extra pillow (double room) and the towels were threadbare. This accomodation is very dated and while it appears it has had a recent paint job, you need to take care not to trip on the deteriorating carpet (including on the stairs).
The Manager was clearly overworked and was away from the reception desk on many occasions. While we waited for our room, four other guests came to the office for assistance. Also it was difficult to determine who the Manager was as they did not have any corporate attire identifying them from the guests.
The location was great, close to restaurants and shops. It's a pity that the accommodation did not mirror the surroundings.

A very enjoyable experience rooms & kitchen spotless. Within walking distance of many eating places & shops. Will definitely visit again.

Very spacious and best bed.pool was very clean that kids loved to play in. Thanks for the floaties which my son has managed to have lots of fun with my daughter.

Friendly staff, big rooms with comfortable beds and good pillow. The bathroom was clean and a good shower. And free wifi! We had a good stay for 2 nights. Thank you to the staff!
