27Greatly under valued our house lower then the median house price for the area, about to get approval for our house loan but Bankwest decided to use this company and they undervalued the home, went with a different bank and the valued our home 80k more!
Not happy with their Valuations. This is the second time they valued my property. Both times they valued the property extremely low. At a time when the property market is improving my house has been valued by other valuators who have given valuations which are more than $70,000 to $80,000 of the figure quoted by HTW for the same property. The difference is huge. I will tell my broker not to involve them any more.
If I could give anything lower I would. The staff very negligent and rude. I will not be opening my doors to anyone from this company to do valuation for me. Absolute waste of time.
Called to talk to someone about a couple of valuations and they said “send an email and the address and we will quote” I said I wanted to talk to somebody and they said no! Not believing what I was here I said that’s not great customer service and they replied “well we are very busy” - not for long with that attitude - could you imagine their future? Companies became great but staying great few do and this company won’t stay around with that culture.
UNBELIEVABLE!
Did an evaluation with wrong details. Took photos of smoke alarm and listed electrical appliances of no relevance. Rang office and they rudely hang up. Evaluation useless
The valuer from this company doesn't know anything about the area he valuated my property less then $300,000 as I had a previous valuation prior 6 months ago. Or this company is shifty or they knows what they is doing and just to let the homeowner down to sell with cheap price. It's shifty company I do not recommend anyone to use it specially for the bank and the brokers. My brocker ordered this valuer so I told my brocker not to use this company anyone.
Do not use this company their staff are dangerously negligent. We had a bank valuation with a major bank and HTW came in significantly lower than comparable sales prices, the valuer had no idea about different zoning, asserted that a moderate growth zone where apartments were being built was the same as a neighbourhood zone because 'someone could count a basement as an extra level', compared our property to properties in entirely different councils worth less and used a semi detached house on half the land declaring it was comparable. There were so many flaws and inaccuracies with the report and data provided by Sam C (the valuer) that following an independent audit and review the bank to give us another valuation with a different valuation company which came in $200K more than what HTW valued our at. Perhaps they'd be OK if you are after a low ball valuation, but then again given the inaccuracies i wouldn't risk it.
