I have never seen a more inadequate valuation company. I wanted to get a valuation done on my first property, it came back 120k lower than another valuation I had done. The latest valuation which was on my second property took more than a week to get done and came back way under valuation and all these ridiculous clauses on what the house needed to get finished off! Stay well clear of this company!

Valuer comes for 5 mins and just copy pastes previous report without considering market rates. Every time valuation comes lower than market rates and they just undervalue your property by min100k with no basis. If I compare last 3 properties sold in that area and considering mine is superior to them as its new built and with all upgrades still its undervalued. Better switch to other bank for better valuation and saving yourself from loan shortfall.

Stay away from this trash firm, could help wondering why it still exit on the market, the valuer, their valuation report will ruin everyone, including bank, the owner and agents ;- (

If your valuer is Kim Gibson, be prepared for an unfriendly visit, teamed with incompetence and haughtiness! Missed areas of my property, totally uninterested and radiated an air of frustration. There are other better property valuers.

5 star review for Theo at Herron Todd White, despite what the value may come to, Theo in general is a lovely man
He's valued our house a couple of times and each time, he has been so kind and friendly. My 3yo son loved his visit and didn't understand why he had to leave. Customer service from Theo is above and beyond, more than you can ask for from someone valuing your house:)

Compared to properties with conclusions which made no sense. Also compared a property where the listed bedrooms were wrong. No clue. I would agree with other reviews.the valuers don’t listen and I would cancel my application if to do it again

Our property has been undervalued by Herron Todd thrice now, exactly as other reviews have mentioned. 2 days after valuation from Herron Todd, OPTEON came in and did a correct valuation through a different bank.
If you get a call or message that Herron Todd is your valuer, immediately call the bank and cancel your application then reach out to a different bank. There is no use proceeding with this dodgy under-valuation.

I am doing that moving forward and letting the banks know the reason for cancellation is their valuer Herron Todd.

Twice I've had the misfortune of being assigned Herron Todd White as a valuer for my property. And twice, I've been undervalued SEVERELY by them for reasons that don't make sense. We're talking a difference in valuation of at least 50-70k, which for an apartment, is quite significant.

The valuer, Robert, who has valued my property in both instances, did not take into account the unique upgrade works I put in at my property and was not at all willing to listen to reason or compromise when discussing via my broker.

Whilst appearing kind and professional saying reassuring things about taking things into account during the actual inspection, the final outcome was nothing short of insulting both times.

If the bank you're interested in issues HTW as a valuation agency, just chalk it off as a loss and move onto the next bank. They must be paid to undervalue properties to be able to charge LMI via the banks or some other rort.

Despicable.

Unfriendly girl did the valuation with her dodgy camera-work. The report mentioned that I live in a house with 'no significant views' like dude, my house is right opposite a beautiful well-maintained park. Open your damn eyes, girl. She also missed a lot of aspects of the house and compared the house to other properties which sold for higher, yet have less features, and undervalued it in comparison to other valuers. Not recommended.

The muppet valued a 4 bedroom house at 151k higher than the blocks of land same size now sell for in an estate. I asked for a review and they wouldn't change it. Absolute joke, bordering on criminal behaviour. I will contact the ACCC and Consumer Affairs about this.

We received a valuation week ago from an incompetent valuer. This time we got HTW to value the same property and happy to say they valued at the contractual price. Well done.

Avoid this company altogether. Bad experience from the time of scheduling the valuation to the actual "failed valuation". The valuer, Toby turned up 20 minutes early, banged on my screen door and when I opened the door 2 minutes later (because I needed to end my work Webex meeting early) he was ready to leave the house. When my puppy went to greet Toby, the puppy got excited a bit and Toby went to hit the puppy. It is a medium size 8 months old standard poodle puppy. When I told him not to hit my dog, Toby replied "this valuation is over" and walked away. He is so unprofessional, I'm not sure why a bank such as Macquarie would bother dealing with this company!

How these turkeys can call themselves a valuation company is unbelievable. The lady who came spent more time telling me about her family than asking questions about the property, then when I asked for a rough valuation at the end of the consultation she told me she doesn’t do it, she just takes photos and ticks boxes for the guys in the office to do the valuation. Our property was valued 12 months prior and since then has 2x new bathrooms, a new laundry and a refurbished bedroom and the valuation came in the same as 12 months ago. Not taking into consideration a dramatic increase in price on the Mornington peninsula. I wish you could actually buy property at the valuation these clowns come up with at least 40% off market value.the only other professions that can get it this wrong and still keep their jobs are politicians and weather people. If you can avoid them do at all costs

Canny Tran is amazing, super efficent, works overtime, manage to get valaution completed in time so we wont lose our deposit. Highly recommend

Unbelievably arrogant and lazy valuer, therefore, if you are interested in ensuring that your valuation comes lower, please use them. Comparing with completely different properties. I don't know where these people are trained, obviously care factor is big fat ZERO on their behalf.

Absolute disgrace of a business. If you want a bad experience give them a call. My valuation came in $120k lower than comparable sales and my brand new built home was compared to a 22 year old home go figure. If you take the risk to use this business i suggest you stay clear from the valuer named Malcom.

Edit: emailed the email account they mention in their response to this and never received any communication back. Personally I think that’s worse not replying at all, shows 0 concern

They inspected my property twice with same result and it was amazing because market was growing and I spent $100k on renovations.they told me they considered all but they didnt even look around and asked the right questions so how would they know all? And valuation went to the bank within 10 minutes.which means they looked at internet report and did + - on market growth and disregard anything else.and get easy money wow!
