Ad laments a step by step procedure on how to repair a faucet. By the time I got to the end of this backhanded assault on my probable skills, and their vast experience, they were still keeping step 1 a closely guarded secret!? !
I doubt they know the difference between a plumbing pipe and Hunter's pipe.

I had very high hopes with HPG but received lack luster care when we had a paid quote/assessment of the job needed.

Email responses after was slow as well, which took weeks to end up being quoted for the whole job.

To their credit they did acknowledge their shortcomings, as a result of shortages thanks to covid. This does still demonstrate integrity you don't always see

I've used Heritage Plumbing a couple of times now and I couldn't be happier with their work. Dimitri from Heritage Plumbing arrived this morning to fix the low mains water pressure in our house, install a hand shower and rail, and fix a leaky downpipe. Dimitri was courteous, professional, and tidy. Highly recommended.

The booking was easy to make, with a reasonable call out fee which included 30 mins of work. Matt came out with his apprentice and was fantastic to deal with. He explained things in lay terms and made it really clear what he was going to do and why. Kept me waiting for weeks for quote and then said they couldnt do job for a long time. Dont bother.

An employee came out to do a quote for some roof and plumbing repairs. Charged me $100, and then provided a quote 2x the price nearest quote.
I received a total of 4 quotes from different roofing and plumbing companies in Melb. Heritage was twice the price of the 2nd highest quote and 3x the price of the other two quotes. All quotes came from well-reviewed companies. Disappointed that the quote that cost me the most came back so overpriced.

We had a couple of issues (mainly roof-plumbing) and Heritage Plumbing provided us with detailed and clear steps on how they are going to tackle them. They also communicated each step properly and were open to questions and more importantly, changes along the way.

Some minor issues with their responsiveness (as we waited for more than 1.5 months to hear back from them), but we understand those were mainly due to the COVID circumstances and restrictions.

The work was done within a day and in an acceptable, clean and professional manner. The outcome reflects their expertise and we would definitely recommend them to anyone in need for their plumbing work.

We were recommended to use Heritage Plumbing for a pool heater installation and removalof old unit, after many other plumbers wouldn't take on job, Heritage were knowledgeable, professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Great experience with Heritage Plumbing. They turned around a job last-minute, the price was very competitive and the service was top notch.

Based on the reviews, we asked Heritage to quote for a solution to a channel drain which was flooding.

Heritage plumber’s ‘solution’, was to divert as much storm water away from the flooding channel drain at the rear of the garage to the channel drain at the front of the garage. Quoted over $13,000.

- $8,000 to cut a 600mm pit, add a pump and run a pipe up the wall and along the roof of the garage to the front channel drain.

- $5,000 to redirect 1 x drainpipe from the flooding drain to the front drain. Replace 2 x downpipes and replace 2 sheets of colourbond roofing on the garage.

Turns out the $13,000 ‘solution’ to divert all the water to the channel drain at the front of the garage was actually to THE SAME STORM WATER PIPE AS THE FLOODING DRAIN, just further up the line. One big unnecessary loop and still the drain would have flooded as it was BLOCKED.
I wonder after $13,000 how much the quote would have been to fix the STILL FLOODING drain? $13,000 and climbing.

And there were a few other things -
- The Heritage plumber did not touch or test either the flooding drain or front channel drain.
- We asked for a rough breakdown of the quote. He said it took too much time. Couldn’t tell us if it was a $200 or $2,000 pump that he quoted for.

After a quote of over $13,000, of course we got a second opinion from another company. They checked every single pipe around the house with cameras and CLEARED the channel drain as it was BLOCKED. Cost $700.

Demertrius was helpful, communicate very well with good explanation. We will recommend & use his service again.

The most laziest, incompetent staff. We are left out of pocket for nothing fixed! Brushed their hands off and made excuses to finish the job.

Absolutely outstanding service. After discovering a water leak late at night, I got in touch with them first thing in the morning. They were responsive, friendly, professional and prompt. They fixed the leak under the house and were reasonably price. I would recommend and use again.

We called up Heritage on a recommendation of a friend. We were impressed by the professionalism and transparency of the team at Heritage Plumbing. The guys who did the investigation and repair explained everything very well and were respectful, punctual, polite, and friendly. Couldn't rate them higher.

Heritage Plumbing was recommended by a friend. I had a tricky issue. The shower plug/waste had come apart and water was going under the house. The standard size plug/waste couldn't fit and short of a very expensive option of pulling out the entire shower/tiles, they 'resized' the area and fitted it in. The job didn't look straight forward to me and it had to be looked at twice, but most importantly they made it work. I will be doing a full bathroom renovation in the near future, so this option is practical and cost effective for now. I also had a 23 years old hot water system replaced. Their technicians are qualified hard working people who want the best for their customers. While they aren't the cheapest, I believe you get what you pay for. They are also upfront about their fees so you can make an informed decision on whether to use them or not. I am really glad I did!
