The Hepburn General Store is local for us. Since Kate the new owner took the business on it has gone from strength to strength. The food is really hearty and they sell the best bread. It is a pleasure to go in there now with all of the improvements that have been made in the last few years, coffee is good too.
The service is prompt and friendly and they know what they are doing. So happy to have this store close by

Delicious toasted sandwiches and coffee at a very good price. This place has become a favourite of ours.

A good range of supplies here - lovely bread for example. The coffee is average. The service is below standard. It’s not a particularly welcoming place. And don’t dare try to pick up a parcel!

Had everything I needed, prepped and fresh food, ready to eat meals and coffe beer, wine and all kinds of funky items. Puts the big superstores to shame. Thanks for looking after me.

I had a nice pie, pastry was good but nothing to rave about and a very average coffee. But for a small coffee and a pie $11.00, that’s a tad steep. If it was a $4 coffee it wasn’t worth it and that leaves the pie coming in at $7 and that way over priced. It’s quaint, but does that mean charge more. I’ve had some great meals this weekend most averaging $120 for 1 person so I’m not opposed to paying for decent food. If the pie was out of the world and the coffee wasn’t burnt and bitter and the milk stretched correctly I wouldn’t have given it quite the review I have.

Only giving 3 stars because the pastry was nice

Incredibly sour, unfriendly and downright rude service! In the area for work, colleagues and I stopped here for coffees and snacks today and the lady acted like she completely resented us giving her any business, even though many other shop owners throughout Victoria have been forced to close in the current climate! She treated the customers after us just as despicably!

The cutest little General Store I have seen in a long time. Beautiful nostalgic atmosphere. Delicious lamb pie. The staff were very accommodating with my meal selection which was a bit different. Thank you. Pecan pie like no other

Infamous and well supported by locals and tourists alike. Selling essentials and takeaways fit for the breadbasket of Victoria.

Oh what a little gem. Has a range of boutique items as well as the essentials that you forgot to pack like cream, cling wrap. Really friendly people run this place.

Tasty press and sandwiches, limited range of groceries, ice cream. There are tables inside where you can sit and eat in this quaint general store, away from the wasps outside.
