Hello José

Had the DIY taco feast with a group of four. Was absolutely sensational! Plenty of food. Staff were super helpful and attentive even though it was super busy. Spicy margarita really hit the spot. 100% would recommend!

I love going to Hello Jose, every time we go I feel like we are treated like VIP’s. Very friendly staff. Fresh tacos (the fish ones are my favourite), good Mexican beer selection or if you like tequila or Mexican cocktails they have a great selection too!

Great DIY tacos and drinks. Good prices. The corn on the cob is well worth it. Chicken wings are super crispy, yummy

Have been enjoying Hello José since they opened years ago. Always fresh produce. Pretty much order the entire menu amongst our group when we get together.

Recently tried their taco feast during lockdown- divered to hospital after I had my baby. Little celebration feast for hubby and I.

My faves off the menu are: the Beef taco, Baja tacos. Toastadas, the corn on the cob is amazing and make sure you round it out with the churros and choc dipping sauce.

Margaritas are delish and the beer garden has the best vibe & good tunes.

I've invited many a work colleague to come enjoy some easy fun food and drinks along with some family celebrating birthdays, bachelorette parties and other special life events, or just because.we feel like good tasty Mexican food!

Awesome little tacos and tequila bar! Tacos are the most authentic and flavoursome I have had in Melbourne, the playlist is banging (especially on a Friday night!), and the good vibes (and tequila!) are flowing:)
The super cute and cozy cerveza garden with colourful painted walls and the lovely staff will make you feel straight out of a taqueria in Tulum!
Bonus: the free pop corn
Must try: corn on the cob, ceviche toastadita, fried chicken taco, bloody José ;)
Also, BEST chicken wings in town (def go for tangy!)

Hello Jose is one of my absolute Favs. I had a group of friends there for my last birthday. Share food was elite, and the tequila even better! The staff are friendly as can be. I definitely recommend for a small group event, or dinner.
Through Covid lock down they even turned to delivery - brightening a few of our lock down date nights! See you again soon

Love going to Hello Jose! Doesn’t happen very often because we live in Bacchus Marsh but when we can we choose to go there! Such a fun vibe; good tunes, friendly wait staff and delicious fish tacos! Great selection of Mexican beers, cocktails and tequilas. Have usually eaten too many tacos to have dessert but from having them previously the churros are yum

AMAZING, best Mexican in Melbourne! The food is sooo good! Everything I sampled was delicious. Awesome vibes all round, love the staff and the funky tunes. Margaritas were outstanding!

I frequently come here when I go down to Melbourne. When Victoria opened up again for travel, this was a must stop and boy did they deliver! Friendly staff, a great selection of delicious taco / chicken wings with some of my favourite tequila.

I’ve been coming to say hi to Jose since they first opened and have always loved whatever I’ve ordered! Andrew and the staff have always provided great friendly service.

I am pretty disappointed with José's,
We only ordered 4 Tacos, we were planning on making a second order after having the first serve but they took over 30 minutes to serve, so my girlfriend politely asked how much longer it would take? I was watching Her speak with the waitress, when my girlfriend turned her back, the waitress appeared to be making fun of Her behind Her back.my girlfriend came back in a bit of shock as she wasn't expecting to be spoken to the way she was.this is unacceptable behaviour! I will never return or recommend this place to anyone.

When the food was delivered to our table, it wasn't brought to us by the waitress that was serving us originally.instead a gentleman with actual manners came and apologised, I feel sorry for him as I imagine he must have to apologies on her behalf often.

The Tacos were lacking in flavour so I really had to rely on the condiments. I was warned that the jalapénos were extremely hot. I couldn't even taste them, and I put my girlfriend's on mine also, so that's strange.

This place is over priced and under spiced.
It's a NO from me unfortunately.

Mocktails were not good.lemon squash dressed up as mocktails the whole day.
When i asked for passionfruit or other friuts, served lemon squash again
