Heartattack and Vine reviews
57Decent options for vegetarians, with a nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. Didn't give 5 stars as towards the end of our meal a strictly meaty smell wafted over which is definitely a turnoff for vegetarians.
I will always be loyal to Heartattack's spanish hot chocolate. I was first introduced to this many years ago when I moved here, and have now been taking visitors back ever since. It's citrusy, rich, and dark. An absolutely delicious cup if you like your hot chocolate not-too-sweet.
Coffee always good. Hot chocolates are delicious, not weak and sweet like most places make them
Atmosphere is lovely. Mornings there are always a lot of people with their laptops working away quietly, variety of indoor seating and outdoor seating on the street. Lovely place to meet friends, there's a long table perfect for groups up to 10.
Service has been consistently good and staff friendly:)
This place makes one of the best lattes in Carlton! Would highly recommend for great coffee. Unfortunately I haven’t seen a vegan food option so I haven’t tried anything from their food menu. My friends tell me it’s banging though.
Nice hip and casual vibe and happy staff, liked the idea of combining starters / tapas but overall the menu seemed a little limited to small bites, especially not many wines by the glass
Excellent example of post Covid contempt for customers No table service? $5 coffee served sans sugar? Woke hospitality w poor effort/ attitude.the future, regrettably!
Lovely cafe, great coffee and food.
The location is a bit small.
Staff members are always friendly and professional.
I got so many recommendations to come here and try the porchetta roll and I will say the actual roast pork was delicious… however staff is incredibly rude, I had to wait 25 minutes for my panini, and the actual panini was so dry, the only nice thing was the porchetta itself:/ why was the mustard and relish on the side? The roll itself either needed some kind of mayo/creamy sauce or WAY more of the green pesto sauce.
If you want a nice quick and easy lunch time feed. The porchetta roll at lunch is scrumptious and in high demand. Get in quick before it's gone.
One of the local favourites. Expect perfect coffee and great snacks. The Melbourne Coffee vibe is frankly palpable.
Hands down the best wine bar in Melbourne! Absolutely love everything about Heartattack and Vine. Food, drinks and particularly the service are always 10/10. Can't wait for my next date night here.
The hot chocolate here was delicious, but the tortilla sandwich just tasted like potato. Couldn't taste any aoli or onion. And my friend's porchetta roll didn't seem any more impressive apart from the porchetta. Will only be coming back for the hot chocolate.
This is my go-to cafe. I always have a lovely experience here service and food-wise! Drinks are almost as lovely as the staff. Thanks for keeping this university student fed:)
Lovely and generous staff. It’s a sweet place to sip something special. I wish they used bonsoy
For me this is the best roast pork and slaw roll in Melbourne. Get one with the lot. Friendly efficient staff. Coffee is v good also. Its 5 stars for food and service. I do takeaway but great spot to eat in.
Must try porchetta crackling pork roll! Their panini/baguette menu is delicious, fresh, and crafted in a way that leaves you feeling satisfied. Lovely staff and I will come again:)
If you eat pork, order the porchetta roll and use the condiments as you take each bite;
Heartattack and Vine have perfected this meal, truly worth going out of your way to try.
The coffee was nothing special.
Staff was friendly even when I went at prime time.
The venue is cosy, warm and inviting.
Have to wait forever for take away coffee every single time, but worth the wait. Lovely staff, fab coffee.
Night time snack offerings are uninspired and poor, and quite expensive given the quality. It's probably a better experience during the day.
