My husband has been going there for years and loves it, he has had a fantastic experience with Eamon.
Love this gym, have been going on and off since 2013, but most recently returned a couple of years ago and have gotten into the swing of things with regular semi-private training sessions with one of the trainers, David. The programs David designs for me are always engaging and challenging, they are well thought out and take into account my personal fitness goals, the gym members and all the staff are very friendly and approachable and the facilities and equipment is all excellent. Overall a very relaxed and focused environment that I would highly recommend.
Highly recommend joining Healthy Fit! I have been a member for about a year, including over the past 8 months whilst pregnant. I have worked with a few different trainers, including Gabriela, Eamon and Miranda. All have been amazing at adapting my exercise program for my changing needs and have been knowledgable around pregnancy exercise modifications. I have loved being able to stay active and strong during my pregnancy. Already planning to come back post-birth to help with my recovery and building my fitness. Thanks everyone!
Brigitte and the team at Healthy Fit are wonderful. I’ve been working with Kris (nutritionist) and Gaby (trainer) as part of their Women’s Weight Loss Program. I walked in on a whim not really knowing what to expect (and a little bit nervous), and I’m so glad I did. The support and guidance I’ve received has been incredible - I’m seeing results, but I’m also feeling more confident, happy and strong! HF use the phrase ‘Gymtimidation free’ and this couldn’t be more accurate. All the trainers are welcoming and supportive and make me feel like I belong - my whole experience has been so positive!
I've been training at Healthy Fit for a few months now and so happy to say that it's been such a positive experience.
Nothing really beats having a trainer monitoring your progress, creating a personalised programs for you and giving you great advice. The best thing about it is that the programs give you excellent results. Seeing results really inspires me. I surprise myself all the time with how strong I've become!
I have trained with Michael (mainly), Gabriella and Miranda who are so awesome, knowledgable, super dedicated and work darn hard to make sure you're achieving the goals you set out to achieve. Kris offers exceptional dietary advice.
Training somewhere I feel comfortable is important and the team always create a welcoming, community vibe.
The Mind Body app (where you book your classes) offers a lot of flexibility with rescheduling which has really suited my schedule that changes all the time.
Highly recommend! If you've stumbled across Healthy Fit, I honestly wouldn't bother looking anywhere else.
It's been great getting to know the team over the past few months that I have been working with them in the semi-private sessions. The Men's Health program has really helped me get back on track in my life. I always look forward to the social interactions with the HF Team and other members of the gym. Thanks!
Can't be more satisfied with the decision to join Healthy Fit 4 months ago. The staff and trainers are friendly and keen to work with you to achieve your personal fitness goals and they allow dogs too! Overall an awesome local gym in Fitzroy area.
Healthy fit is an amazing gym. Everyone is really friendly, welcoming and the vibe is really good. As soon as you walk in, you instantly get a feeling that everyone cares, there is no intimidation/judgement or any kind of weird energy that I've felt at other gyms. The best part are the semi private PT sessions by really supportive & knowledgeable trainers. All the members are really nice too, the PT sessions happen in groups of 4 and everyone is so encouraging. I've been a member for 3 months, I'm so happy with how strong I'm getting and I honestly look forward & am excited to go to the gym.
PS - The best best part is that dogs are welcome inside the gym.

After moving to Melbourne, I really struggled to find a gym I enjoyed and felt comfortable in. I’d injured my back in 2019 and was looking for a gym to help me build my strength back up and get my fitness back on track after being in lockdown. I walked past Healthy Fit one day and met with Mandy and immediately felt like I'd made the right decision. I had my first session with Eamon shortly after and was pretty happy… I could actually do stuff! And I felt comfortable doing it!
Since joining Healthy Fit I am much stronger and have so much more confidence in myself. Training with Eamon has been amazing; he encourages me to push myself when he knows I can go further and works with me to increase my strength and fitness bit by bit. I train 3 times a week with Eamon and honestly, I never thought I'd be someone who looks forward to getting up in the morning and going straight to the gym! It's really helped to give me structure in the week, especially now that I mostly work from home.
Everyone is so welcoming at Healthy Fit and all the trainers I have worked with are so knowledgeable and passionate - they know your program and are so supportive of your goals. It's such a wonderful community to be a part of.
Miranda at Healthy Fit has been my trainer for 3 months now. I couldn't recommend her more. She is passionate, knowledgeable and good fun to be around. All the things you wish for in a trainer)
If I could give this gym more stars I would! Do yourself a favour and join. Such a welcoming, community vibe, always sparkling clean and never over crowded.

I’ve loved doing individual and small group PT with Ettore. He's motivated me but also made sessions fun (and playing some crisp tunes!). I look and feel better, and look forward to my visits.
I really enjoy that Healthy Fit hasn’t felt like a lot of other gyms. It has a real mix of people, feels very inclusive, is always clean and never feels crowded. The team all know me by name and say hi, and have always been really flexible and accommodating when I’ve had to move sessions due to work or travel.
I couldn’t recommend Healthy Fit and Ettore more!

Training with Miranda and Eamon has been the most I’ve ever enjoyed exercising! I look forward to every session:) they have been super flexible and accommodating to my limited equipment supply and last minute time changes. Living so isolated and having the session via zoom honestly feels like I’m there in gym with the trainers! Would highly recommend joining healthy fit.

Healthy Fit is the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. Before joining I had a history of joining a gym, working out for a couple months, then eating the cost of the remaining membership as I would go weeks without stepping inside. Not the case for Healthy Fit.
Their focus on workouts with Trainers who are staff members is the key to my personal fitness success— and their arrangement is both flexible and motivating. All of the trainers are motivating and dedicated and keep me coming back.
I’m so happy to be a member and I’m so thankful for their support during lockdown.
