Regional store that is well stocked and well presented and very clean. A pleasure to shop there

Although, I live in inner suburbs of Melbourne, I always prefer to shop at the Ballarat Branch, due to the Range, variety, and most importantly the professional service offered by the staff!

As usual with this store, the staff are exceptional, well spoken, always polite and very helpful.

Had great specials on air fryers, a staff member put one (last one), away for us. Very well laid store.

If it's time for you to change/update your kitchen wares, well, the best place at the moment is Harris Scarfe - I just did. Lots of savings.

Staff were friendly but definitely not enthusiastic. Store was very tidy and staff assisted promptly with a faulty product returned

Overall my visit to Harris Scarfe was a positive one. I was able to purchase the essential items I went for. I was pleased the items advertised in their catalogue were in-store, although I spent approx 10 minutes in the appropriate department trying to locate these items with no luck. I couldn't find a staff member to assist, so I went to a staff member on the registers who called someone from the department to assist me. He was also unable to locate the item, so went out back. He returned in approx 5 minute as advising he had checked the computer and they definitely have some in stock. After having another look on the shelves he was able to locate the sale item i was seeking. The 2 staff members who assisted me were helpful and happy to assist me. The store was clean. Due to reduced number of people out and about the CBD meant there were plenty of parking bays free close to the store. Pre COVID I often don't bother to shop at Harris Scarfe in Ballarat as finding a park is usually very difficult. If the store didn't offer significant price reductions on good quality items I wouldn't go through the hassle of locating a park and shopping there.

Great products but seriously not being able to try a bra on and in regional Vic. Please ease off a bit. I'm not going to buy 6 bras and have to bring 3 back because I'm testing new bras. I'm visiting from Mildura not Melbourne.
Disappointing. But got some other bargains thanks.

Good range of products and great prices. Easy access to all areas, clear walk aisles and pay stations. Staff very helpful and friendly. Over $600 saucepan set for $239. Good for us.

Harris Scarfe is one of the better stores to shop for the home. Our most recent visit here was made all the better by the assistance given from a middle aged lady, greyish hair with a pony tail, who was sorting and stacking in the towelling section. She was so enthusiastic with her really knowledgeable advice. Given my wifes penchant for uncertainty when selecting anything, this lady could well have saved me 20-30 minutes of torturous shopping. I just wish I had looked at her name so I could tell her employer.

I often find staff members chit chatting loudly to each other through out the store. Even at the checkout.

Love this shop. Everything you need in one department store at reasonable prices. Staff helpful and friendly.

Discounted prices always work out to be the same price as previously discounted prices that were a different % off.

Unfortunately closing down. Some great bargains to be had. I bought bonds singlets for $5.95, normally $16.95, how good is that!

Don't go and get bra fitted at all have no clue how to fit you properly but great stuff good prices

Website sucks the search thing is broken whatever you search for it takes you to the newsletter sign up page DUH! I searched for sheets, plates, storage tubs all went to newsletter sign up page! @@

Only shop here for good quality linen. Found Sheraton at 40% of. Great selection of sheets from 250 thread to 1500 thread pure cotton sheet sets, all sort of pillows, quilts underplays and doonan covers. Always a good special to be had, however not a lot of staff and register girl efficient but not polite.

Replacing my frying pan and the staff were really friendly and helpful, including anecdotal information regarding easy warranty returns for Circulon. Very reassuring.

Harris Scarfe specialises in cheap clothing. The Ballarat store is typical of the many stores across Australia.low quality (but low cost) clothing and a drab interior.
