Best Fish and Chips in Geelong, hands down. Fish whether it is fried or grilled, it's never overcooked, never oily. Potato cakes and chips are never overcooked, always a pleasure getting takeout from here. Potato cakes are fresh not frozen, staff are always happy and very welcoming! Highly recommend, they won awards for a reason.

Good fish and chips matter, and this place does them well. Portion sizes are reasonable, as are prices. The shop is tucked away but you won't need to be Sherlock Holmes to find it. No room to dine in so take-away only.

Great today, nice big serve of fish, (flake) crispy potato cakes and chips, just wish everyone in the shop would be more welcoming to customers, it dosnt take much but it makes a massive difference as I would buy from them more often, the lady working by her self today was doing a great job, thank you and that's why my 4 stars. Yes always consistently great. You get quality AND quantity here, oh and two thumbs up for using the Mitani brand chicken salt. Love your double-patty burgers and extra crispy chips - with the chicken salt of course. Cashed-up hungry fat man always happy afterwards.

Finally found the perfect fish and chips after reading they won best in Geelong. The cleanest shop you will find too. Lovely staff.

Grilled fish was inedible. It was coated in partially undercooked flour, the fish was overcooked and dry, and only a few millimetres thick. I have never seen a shark that thin so not sure what type of fish this was. The chips were luke warm bordering on cold while other fried foods were hot so possible not freshly cooked. Potato cakes and steamed dim sims were fine.

After moving to Geelong I needed a new fish and chip shop and this was the one. They give generous portions of chips where there is no set mounts but you simple get more the more you pay. Their fish and potato cakes are crispy and well cookrd. This is the best fish and chips in geelong.

I tried souvloki for the first time and i liked it alot. This is my first time at fish and chips and I am looking forward to try other stuff over here. Delicious and quality food. Must visit.

Happy Fillet is our family’s regular fish and chip shop, it’s always reliable with great food, serving sizes, price and customer service. The shop is always immaculately clean and tidy and the staff are presentable in matching uniforms which is a nice touch.

Great variety of items including tasty vegetarian options. I swear by their delicious potato cakes - simply the best I’ve ever had and I love that they’re handmade!

Another bonus is the price, it’s the cheapest and best quality in Grovedale with great serving sizes! I’d highly recommend them and will continue being a regular customer.

Poor service got the order wrong on and then wanted to recharge food was not nice either certainly will never be back absolutely disgusted! Such a shame because i was giving them a second chance too

Called in at half time at nearby football oval on Sunday arvo and had some chips and dim Sims lovely on a winter's day.
