The staff was rude and they really don’t know how to talk. Whoever managing it pls spend some $ on staff training, your staff really need it.

I have to update on your reply so I have to edit here. 1st of all pls don’t try to teach me as i have been into corporate and govt structure from last 18 years. When I was at your front desk no one asked me about pet if they asked me at that time then by sure I disclosed on spot, there is no point to hide a pet and what’s the point to talked over the phone so rude that’s the way you talk to client, she hanged up the phone when I asked her how dare you talk like this? Further No One told me about the speed limit which is 10, the ground staff the way he stopped me and told me it’s completely unprofessional. Pls be professional and accept your fault and further trained them otherwise this place will be closed soon due to your staff unprofessionalism. You guys ruined everything by the way, disgusting

The site is well distributed, but I think is a bit overpriced.we paid 44 bucks per night and we didnt even have a hot shower.camp kitchen was old and very basic, there was only one cooktop which was not working at all, BBQs cost 1 dollar and dump point was next to the kitchen which is disgusting.
It is not a bad caravan, just in the center of Halls Gap and walking distance to Venus baths, but definitely they could upgrade a couple of things and make the camping experience more enjoyable.

Bathrooms and showers are very clean. The camp kitchen and laundry facilities are also clean. Plenty of fire pits. The pool is excellent. The views are spectacular. Close to local shops and restaurants. Close to walking trails. Highly recommend.

Just home from 3 nights in a deluxe cabin. Cabin was very comfortable and clean. It was our first visit to Halls Gap and we will be back. Lovely quiet park, within an easy walk to main street suited us perfectly. Thank you.

Great position. Next to the Botanic Gardens and lots of walks. And we have a banksia and bottle brush right outside the window of our little cabin.

Lovely quiet campsite by the river. Service was friendly and professional. Right in town but just far enough away that you wouldn't know you were in town. Facilities clean and well maintained.

Some cabins are really good, under $200 good for budget. If you are not fussy go with below that price. One cabin have 1 double bed + 2 bunkbeds.good for 6 ppl

The amenities are very dated and full of mould. Cleaning not sufficient. Broken tiles and dripping taps that were very difficult to operate. Campsites difficult to find as site markings are buried under grass and worn out. Time to find a new park to stay at after visiting this one many times over 40 years. Such a shame it's been let go for people that still caravan and camp.

We accidentally booked the wrong dates and Trish behind the desk was so lovely about it. Got us fixed up in no time! Great location, so central, great amenities. Everything you need in the cabins and overall, a wonderful stay. Would recommend!

This review was a little different to the reviews I’d usually give to the accommodations I’ve stayed in, in the past. Upon arrival I was greeted by a women who really lacked customer service skills. I’ve worked in customer service for years and this was a red flag for me. I walked in without a mask as I couldn’t find it but definitely had it in my handbag somewhere and was told I couldn’t come in without a mask so I went to find it couldn’t find it still so put on some face covering just so I can check in and get my family out of the car as we had been travelling 3 hours from Melbourne. She then said she can’t talk to me until I have a mask on and told me to go to the chemist and buy one so I did, got back then said I had to do the QR check in then ‘she can talk to me’. My phone was in the car so had to go out get it come back in again then said she won’t continue until I showed her I’ve checked in then ofcourse being up in the mountains I had no reception on my phone went on to ask for wifi and password to do this and ofcourse she couldn’t make it easier for me and do check in by paper and pen like almost every place we go to. Once that was sorted it was 1 hour later, she proceeded to check me in finally with such a dry angry face, by this point I was ready to go find somewhere else to stay but had 3 toddlers that were so restless and just wanted to get into accommodation. I literally couldn’t get over how extremely rude she was and couldn’t wait to leave already the next morning. That afternoon I called to ask if they had fire wood to turn on the bonfires in their stone room outside she then rudely said well we aren’t doing that for you and I have to do it myself, I never asked you to do it for me I was just asking if you had any wood? So my husband went to go get some as she said rudely we close reception in 15minutes. $25 later the wood was terrible as well as the 1 tiny gas lighter so didn’t use them and went and bought some from iga across the road. We previously have stayed at another hotel nearby in the Grampians and had a great experience and was excited to come back sadly this time round was terrible. Thank god we didn’t stay more then the night.

Neat and tidy rooms. With a group of 6, it was worth the price. Super close to heaps of hikes, and only a minute walk to the town. Would definitely return. Loved the mountain views from the window.

Excellent Feb weekend staying here with friends. The caravan was huge - about double the width of any caravan I ever stayed in before. Very clean and well equipped too. Large veranda area with seating/table. About a two minute walk from the swimming pool and four minute walk to the main street (cafes/shops etc). Lots of kangaroos right outside the caravan around dusk. Booked the 'deluxe caravan' as it was just a few dollars more than the basic caravan. Quick/easy check in and out. Highly recommend.

Staff very unhelpful and rude.
The best park in Halls Gap is lakeside. Never again will I be at this park.

The booking was not in my name.

Showers, BBQ sections and a great location. We stayed here both in the cabins as well as the camp ground - highly recommend either

We were only there very briefly, but the park is great. Love that we were greeted by a family of kangaroos! Lovely lady at the office. Clean amenities.
