No point advertising 3pm closing time if you arrive at 2.15pm to find it shut. Don’t care if there’s a final on or not.

Inaccurate quote by Mike, lied about his position in the company and what services he offers. Overall comes off as an opportunists, over quoting and under delivering! Would not recommend this company!

Exceptional customer service by Mike. He was very knowledgeable, measured up the area required and provided a full quotation.

Our specified carpet was very hard to find but Mike ensured he obtained the required quantity for us with a quick turn around. He even gave us samples beforehand to ensure we were happy with the product.

Would definitely recommend these guys! The negative reviews below may have been misconstrued but I was very impressed with their service.

Thank you Mike.

I've just completed a renovation and this firm provided the worst experience of the contractors I dealt with (about 15 separate trades). The sale person was arrogant and after making a series of serious mistakes, were non-committal and aggressive when challenged. When we asked for a 3% discount to cover our costs for them installing the wrong carpet, the salesman threatened to break into our house, rip out the carpet and take us to court. There are lots of great carpet companies out there. This is not one of them and I strongly recommend you find another store.

In terms of specific grievances we had with the business:

* Misled us on stock levels and forced lock-in for carpet. We were told there was exactly the right amount of our "very rare carpet" and we had to pay a 30% deposit of $4300 to secure it.
* Provided the wrong colour on the day of installation. When they realised their mistake, I was then told that they had lots of our "very rare" colour.
* The salesman tried to convince us that the wrong carpet was better.
* The salesman explained that we were lucky to the only error that the salesman had made in the past 2 years.
* Explained how lucky we were that the wrong carpet could be on sold (as if it was our problem)
* Took 2 days to confirm if they would install the right colour before we were supposed to move into the property. We were told we had to wait for the owner of Halls Carpet job to be done first (this was clearly more important).
* When they finally confirmed that we would have the correct carpet installed before we moved in, we asked for the installer to arrive at 8.30 because we had other trades who were going to block access to the rooms. The installer arrived an hour late.
* When the installer didn't finish the job, he promised that he'd come back the next day at 9.30. He didn't come back until 11.30 (the day before we were moving house!).

You can imagine that a normal business would offer some kind of a discount for this fiasco, but when I asked for a 3% discount to cover labour costs for my builders and other trades, I was told that they were going to break into my house, take the carpet out and then take me to court.
