EVERYTHING HERE IS SO GOOD, from God fire tori, gyoza, and karage. I hope they will reopen soon, they have been closing for a long time

Not as good as the OG on Russell street but definitely worth it if you're after Chicken broth Ramen.

Love the ambience and the thick broth which forms the base of signature ramen. Would be awesome to see them introduce more meat options except chicken.

Only offer chicken. Broth is good. Not too much variety but overall was good. The spicy pickles was good too.

Loved this place so much. Ambience was lovely and so was the food. It was a little pricey but definitely worth the money if you have some to spare.

Love the chicken ramen here! The soup here is always consistently full of flavour and the noodles are cooked to perfection. Only issue I have is that the chicken is inconsistent, it can sometimes be cooked perfectly and sometimes completely overcooked. That being said, the soup and noodles are enough for me to be satisfied and keep me as a regular.

The black ramen tastes damn good. Staff could of been a little nicer, but the great food and atmosphere makes up for it.

Absolutely delicious ramen, first one that I tried and nothing since has come close, very friendly staff and the atmosphere is electric with a steamy hot bowl of ramen in front of you

Tried most of the other ramen places in the city and Hakata at QV is always our go to.

Great noodles, broth and meat, it's the full package in a very generous serving that allows full customisation from extra toppings, noodle texture and saltiness just to name a few.

On top of that the staff are always friendly, food comes out promptly and the whole experience especially when you sit at the bar where the kitchen is, feels authentic Japanese.

Love the chicken ramen here at Hakata QV. I usually have the tonkotsu down the road at Hakata Russell St but occasionally I feel like the chicken ramen and this is the place to go. They also have gyoza with mentaiko sauce which is a nice and different touch on the traditional gyoza. Not as busy as the Russell St outlet but still has queues during peak dining periods.

Post Covid19 dining experience: order and pay via the app on your mobile phone. Convenient! Get stamps/points on the app too. They are replacing the old stamp on cards with the app. Works at all Gensuke Hakata branches. Also, check in with QR code too.

If you don't use a smart phone, traditional payment method still applies. =)

Now, food wise, menu is definitely different from the other Gensuke Hakata that serves pork based broth. The signature karaage here at QV is not the same as the the other Gensuke Hakata at Lygon st. That one is better. The one here is.quite sad. I was looking forward to that signature karaage because it was really good. But oh well.

This is my favourite ramen place. I wish they open in Brisbane or Gold Coast. I discovered it in 2018 while i was in Melbourne but unfortunately moved to SE QLD so it’s hard to find ramen that is not pork broth as i cannot eat pork broth due to religious reasons so this is a great concept to franchise in other parts of Australia where there is a lack of chicken based ramen joints. I would like to add a recommendation to enhance the flavor profile of this lovely bowl of ramen. I wish that the chicken was seasoned rather than bland as i find it hard to enjoy so i dont consume it all and would rather enjoy the broth, noodle and other toppings instead.

It's one of the pretty good places to have tonkotsu ramen in CBD! The best part of this place is easy to order with a custermization sheet including hardness of noodles. I've been here with friends several times and its always good quality food i can ask for. Lov the stamp card system to encourage me go get back there, too!

Miss the old staffs. New staffs = Rudeness level to climax. Asked for condiments cuz they were not provided then heard the waitress talk about us saying "It is so annoying of them to ask for the condiments why not just be quiet and eat your food".

What the f? My friend fully understands your language and if you find it annoying to assist customers then you should not work at hospitality.

Even though there was a line outside to get into the restaurant, the service is impeciable and quick. The food was great and well priced.

One of my favourite places to grab some Ramen - all of the menu options are a solid choice! The chicken karaage is fantastic and in my opinion, the ramen is as good as in Japan!

Great chicken ramen - freshly cooked and full of flavour.

Staff are efficient, friendly and provide good service.

Size of the ramen is just right, will keep most people full without ordering extras.

There aren't a lot of seats but people don't stay too long so it's usually no waiting time or just a short wait.

Probably the best ramen in Melbourne. They serve delicious gyoza and their spicy pickles are surprisingly good.

The chicken broth is pretty good, but a bit lacking if compared to their pork broth. All in all, a pretty good ramen place.

Only few menus available but it tasted amazing! More importantly it serves no pork and halal, so that moslems can enjoy it too. The service was also great. A must-visit restaurant if you come to Melbourne.
