Hachi Kichi is a lovely Japanese restaurant in Brighton. Dining in has a lovely cosy atmosphere and the takeaway is affordable and comes in decent portions. It’s in a lovely location with a great atmosphere and the service is quick.

Awsome food, not much sugar in it, neat tidy hygienic resturant. Food was packed nicely for home delivery.

Best sushi in the hood and many other hoods too! Always fresh & really really tasty.
Recommend the spicy tuna roll with an order of Garlic Fred Rice tossed in the mix

A lovely Japanese restaurant on Bay Street Brighton. We sat down for lunch and it was beautiful. The waitress was polite and accommodating. The price was reasonable for Brighton shopping strip. We will definitely come back to try some other dishes. Recommended

Hachi Kichi is a popular little Japanese restaurant on Bay Street, Brighton. We enjoyed our choice of dishes however felt the miso sauce was a bit over the top. Tasty fare, however, in my opinion, seemed to lack the refinement seen in many other Japanese restaurants we have visited.

Only had takeaway from here but it was absolutely delicious and great value for money. The sushi is fresh and light. I also highly recommend trying their skewers- super filling and flavourful! This will become my local Japanese now & I hope to dine in soon and try some more of their dishes.

Delicious food. We accidentally stumbled on this rare jem in Brighton. First meal after the lockdown. Gtreat stuff, amazing food. Highly recommend the king fish.it's just sublime.what a refine dish. The fish was just melting in your mount. We will definitely be back many times to come. Thank you.

I must have ordered from there at least 15 times now since COVID started and got 2 of my friends hooked on them as well because they are SO GOOD! Huge fan of their bento boxes! The sashimis are always so fresh and just kind of melts in your mouth. I ordered many items on their menus and I have never been disappointed. I'd order there everyday if my budget had no limits! Absolutely LOVE this place!

This place is the best! Myself and my partner Cameron are regular customers as the food is always so consistently amazing - unlike some of the other Japanese restaurants this side of town; Delicious both in restaurant and thru Uber eats. There was a small mistake in our order and the next time they remembered and left a lovely note and extra free items; lovely touch!

Delicious food, lots of different options plenty gf. Very prompt service. Chicken on the skewers and the tofu were a little dry but the rest of it was amazing. Great place to make your own grazing menu

Loved our first visit here. Delightful young Japanese waitress, the food was delicious and we even had dessert which we never do and loved the uniqueness of it all. Recommended for sure.

Service was friendly but the order of dishes from the kitchen was chaotically all over the place, the sushi was good, the Toro Kara overcooked, the ebi mayo not good enough, the garlic rice clumped badly, sushi Sono that this replaced was vastly better

Very fresh sashimi and good quality foods. This would be the best restaurant in brighton. There is no doubt about it.

By far the most consistent and tasty Japanese in the Brighton area both on delivery and sitting in.
