Gyoza Gyoza - Japanese Restaurant Doncaster

I used to love the place, but it has changed. Last time i was there they didn't have chilly souse! And they used to have soy, chili souse and garlic in small containers on each table, so i could make my own deep withe mix i wanted, now they don't provide that any more. Couliflower deep fried portions was reasonable, they made it quite small now.

Spacious and delicious atmosphere! Food is amazing if you love Japanese cuisine and definitely recommend ordering the scallops, lemon grass chicken gyoza and the desserts (parfait)!

Guys it's years we are going to this restaurant. It's never lost it's quality. It's always fresh and super delicious. My fussy kids only dine in this restaurant. Absolutely great customer service & friendly staff. Give it a go you won't regret it.

I received very poor service at this restaurant and felt scammed after leaving. Not only were the food portions very small while being very expensive and taking a very long time to be brought out to us, the kitchen mixed different foods within our order and my group could not distinguish who’s food was who’s, leaving one of my friends with no food at all. Will not be going again.

Chicken was dry
GYoga was not Wagyu

My wife and kids love this restaurant, very nice teriyaki chicken and fried rice. But on my first trip there the waitress was in a bad mood and yelled at us so food is good, service for us was average. Just being honest.

Update: celebrating my daughter's birthday here tonight. Food is still good and yummy. My family loves this place

Just had lunch with my hubby. Each of us ordered the lunch set with the choice of two dishes each. Very reasonable priced and food is yummy. Will definitely come back again

Delicious food, have come here so many times for their amazing udon and salad! Very fast service and very clean and staff are warm and friendly- definitely recommend coming here to eat!

Oishii! Great food, drinks and atmosphere. We had spicy miso wagyu beef gyoza, kinoko-an tofu, Saba shioyaki, mustard karaage, wafu steak and rice tea. What a meal!

Always a pleasure dining here. My 22m daughter loved the gyoza. Good quality Japanese food without a hefty price tag.

The food was ok. But the service was bad, one of the waiter asked for checking our check-in record after we told he we did. I understand that check-in is very important at this stage. However, he thought I was lying to him? And after to the seats, not explaining anything just put down the menu and left. One star is based on the hospitality, I can’t feel any welcome from the restaurant waiter. But for the foods, I can rate it for 4 stars. Hopefully you can improve your staff.

There was nothing good about this restaurant and the food was really bland. Melbourne is full of great places to dine out in so definitely avoid this one!

This Japanese restaurant is just okay, only deserves three stars. I really want to give this Japanese restaurant two stars, because, they use the well crafted images of meal to make you think food is delicious, but there is a hugh difference between the image of a meal and the actual image of a meal. I came here for lunch and ordered the set menu. The food came quite quickly which was great. The presentation was simple clean and lovely. Great flavours. We ordered extra miso, croquettes and the chicken wings which had heaps of meat on them and a crunchy not oily batter. We ordered extra cheesy wedges and they where extra cheesy and extra delicious. Reasonable price for all the food. The salad was crunchy! So overall 5 stars. We will come back!

A nice place for a quick bite, or a sit and chat over Japanese tapas. Some dishes are seriously tasty, others (soft shell crab burgers) leave more to be desired. Overall I'd say it's a nice dining experience. Decent Japanese food and the tapas style makes sharing and ordering easy.

Delicious food, love the wide spectrum of flavors and styles of cooking. The fresh garlic and black vinegar/soy sauce is a great accompaniment. Love the innovative dishes like mixed mushrooms, different salads, sashimi. Enjoyed the food do much that the plates were emptied before we knew it!

Service and restaurant average. 2 meat dishes, one chicken and one beef gyoza. Also fried rice. The fried rice was very basic but tasty, and the meat in the meat dishes just didn't taste fresh. Edible but not great.

Amazing place to eat. Great and friendly service with a variety of dishes to choose from. Definitely good value!

Service is great. Food portions are tiny. Authentic fresh food, just lacks quantity at the price they're asking for. I'd still go back, but not as often as I would have thought I would given how nice the place looks.
