Gyoza Gyoza - Japanese Restaurant reviews
61A nice izakaya styled restaurant with heaps of dishes to choose from! And all of them are reasonably prized so it was great to choose a few plates to try. The yukke probably wasn’t my fave but it was my first time trying it so probably has nothing to do with the quality of the dish itself. The wasabi tako was a bit too strong on the wasabi so I couldn’t finish it. All the others were great though! Staff was very attentive.
Gyoza Gyoza has excellent service with a menu that caters well to vegetarians and meatlovers alike. Well priced and very tasty.
Good atmosphere and better food. Staff are friendly and always have a good time here. Highly recommend if you want an authentic experience in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.
Wow, what a treat this place is.
Japanese style tapas means you get to try so much in one sitting.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, couldn't fault them one bit, they had great patience with us figuring out what we were going to order.
An insane drinks selection from cocktails to sake flights, again you get to try more and more.
The good came out quickly and was well prepared, all of it tastes great and leaves you wanting to order more.
You'll want to visit this place again once you've been here first.
It’s lucky to find here which is still open after 3pm.food here is good and also the atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. Hope to have party here with my friends next time!?
Amazing drinks and food selection along with great service. One of the best cheap eats we've hadvin Chinatown
Late service, got order wrong, wasn’t great food and my tuna had obviously been frozen & was the tiniest portion. I’d rather not have eaten
Great quality. Pan fried gyoza were delicious - juicy, flavoursome. I particularly like the chicken and lemon grass gyoza but dining partner preferred others. Staff were friendly; food served in timely manner; price for meal was good (soft drinks over priced - standard for most restaurants). Good atmosphere - arrival time was around 9: 00pm Sunday and there was a goid crowd but easy to get a table. First time dining here and will be back.
A restaurant with a very good ambience. There was a long wait of around 25 minutes for us to get it, but the ambience made it worth it. Very friendly service despite the large crowd that comes in!
We got ourselves the tamago (omelette) with truffle oil, ox tongue, okinayaki (pancake), pork gyoza and fried rice for food. A melon soft drink and blue oasiss for drinks.
The fried rice and tamago went really well; there was no truffle in the oil for sure! Felt like oil in soya sauce to be honest. The ox tongue was alright, just not succulent and had a stringy texture. The pancake on the other hand was quite great with that sweet egg flavor and finally there's better gyoza in town for sure!
Wish the food consisted of better quality to be honest as the place was quite superb. Would definitely hit this spot for a date again, alot of room for improvement on the food sector!
Gyoza Gyoza is an izakaya style restaurant located on level 1 Emporium.
The best thing about izakaya dining is the variety available and gyoza gyoza doesn't disappoint. We ordered dishes ranging from sashimi, yakitori and of course gyozas.
The chicken yakitori was cooked perfectly, the oysters were fresh and the gyozas tasted amazing.
Service was good when available however we never got any table water throughout the dining experience even though we asked.
Overall food was tasty with excellent variety. Would recommend
Delicious tapas restaurant, service was great and the food was SO YUM! Would highly recommend this place in China Town Melbourne
Had the chicken and prawn pan fried dumplings and they were pretty good. They have a wide range of delicious dishes and it's super fun to mix and match. Would recommend if you were looking for a relax and more laid back dining experience.
The food is delicious and prepared to bring out the natural flavours of the seafood. The accompaniments balance the taste. I will definitely come again when I’m next in Melbourne.
This place is absolutely amazing! Had dinner here on our second last night in Melbourne and were not disappointed! The staff were amazing and the food was some of the best in town! I could not recommend this place highly enough! So much so that we are going to stop by on our way to the airport for one more meal!
Bad service: no apology with insect in the salad, no politeness by rushing people out when they are not finished with the dinner
Been here several times, great atmosphere which complements the brilliant cuisine and wait staff. With beautify presented dishes and cocktails, it’s a brilliant place for a group of friends or for your first date!
Been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. We usually enjoy an array of tapas at very reasonable prices with decent serving sizes. A true Japanese experience. You wont be disappointed. Worth checking out the matcha ice cream!
Good food, good drinks and great service with extremely reasonable prices. But annoying and loud music.
First place to eat in Melbourne, cool and cozy
Nice selection of Gyoza and snacks
Reasonable price and good atmosphere.
Staffs are pleasant and helpful.
Location nearby CBD and parks.
Ordered pam fried pork and garlic Gyoza, chicken salad, fried rice.
The food here is extremely delicious and full of flavour. There is a wide variety of both food and drinks to suit all cravings and the atmosphere is extremely welcoming. From the moment you step into the store, the staff at Gyoza Gyoza are extremely polite and provide top class customer service.
I've been here as second time. I still can't forget the first experience at this restaurant having Japanese shabu shabu. And this time, I tried single dishes that price only $6.80! It's so reasonable. And hopefully anyone who visit here, don't miss any type of spring roll.
