Gyoza Gyoza - Japanese Restaurant

Worst service ever, you will just waiting and waiting and never got your food until you reminded them. All waiters and waitresses were just walking around, pretending they were busy, bud did nothing. I wasn’t in hurry, so I didn’t mind. But when I paid my bill, I ordered a soft serve to go with me, the waiter said I need to wait about four minutes, because he just clean the machine. I said fine. Then I waited for over 15mins, standing there, no apology. Even after I asked when would it be ready. He said just one more minute. Then I waited for another 10mins. And it’s not the situation I felt long, and the real time wasn’t that long. After I left, I checked my phone, after payment, I waited for 25 minutes, standing there, and still didn’t got my soft serve. I was there from 5pm, I left at 6: 30pm. There were only 2 tables, not busy at all.
If you couldn’t do it, don’t ask customer to wait. Worst service experience ever

Came here for dinner before watching a musical in the theatre nearby. Glad there was a seat available for walk in’s.
Place is generally quiet which is great.
Staff were accommodating. I like the concept of ordering via iPad but the wait time was a bit long. Ordered a rice meal that took about 25-30mins before it was served. Food was good though but next time perhaps I should give more leeway if attending a scheduled event after dining here.

Only ordered 2 entrees and waited over an hour to be seated, have my order taken and get food to the table. Was only given a jug of water 5 minutes before leaving. Gyoza was cold and undercooked, chicken karaage was also average.

It was a Sat night, and our original choice was full. Walked around and decided to give Gyoza Gyoza a try. It turn out to be a good choice. Servers were attentive and good. Got a table pretty quick.

Had the beef gyoza, lobster sliders, shashimi, and it was nice. The beef gyoza was different from the usual pork and chive or prawn gyoza. The lobster sliders was delicious. The Aust tuna shashimi was good. All in all pretty authentic Japanese cuisine.

Would recommend this place.

Great experience. They checked allergy information and were very helpful and friendly. Food was also delicious.

Can be a tad bit pricey depending on what you get but the food was great. Service was mediocre at best with my first dish taking just under half an hour to come, which is a bit strange considering the portions. Nice place to go every once in a while but definitely not somewhere I would go regularly.

Didn’t know what to expect when I booked dinner here. Wasn’t much to look at inside.
However, from the initial greeting by the friendly staff member, the easy method of ordering using a pad device, then the best part, the food, the experience was great!
After I ordered, a member of the wait staff came over, confirmed my order, by going through the printed receipts from the ordering app. The food came out very quick. Beautifully presented and made with very fresh ingredients. The flavours were fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. Staff, as I mentioned were great!
You can walk out of there having had a great feed for one person and a glass of wine for under $50! Give them a try!

3/5 for the food but 5/5 for the service and overall decor/vibe. I will come back again to give them another chance on the food.

I had the Pork Yakisoba. It was a little too oily, and could do with a bit more flavour. It was fine otherwise.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the place was clean and vibrant. I enjoyed my experience here, but next time I will try the Udon and they may come away with a 5/5.

Even at the start i was completely ignored for a good 10 mins then the waitress tells me to sit on the bar proceeds to ignore me for the next 10 mins i decided to just leave, like if you dont wanna take customers because you are too "busy" just say something beforehand, how dare you just let a customer wait for 20 mins with no information? Am i just invisible to you

Super quick service, great set of options to choose from. Especially enjoyed the jug of yuzu tropical cocktail!

It's open much later than the restaurants nearby, which is about the only good thing about it. The food is extremely basic and bland and the service was very slow - nowhere near the best Japanese around.

The food was below average. Wouldn’t go again unless they put more quantities in the servings or the price goes down $4 each food.

We had most of the basic food that you could quickly cook and have it delivered to the table but it took 40 minutes for it to come out - the ox tongue and pork belly was dry and cold - definitely you can notice that it was frozen type and just microwave or something. Karaage was dry and overcooked. Wagu gyoza taste exactly like the frozen gyoza in Woolies (had it twice in different times) - the skin was rubber chewy, there was hardly any meat or filings inside and they served it rather warm - on the cold side underneath a whole bunch of burnt tasting cabbage.

So the price for $94 - the only upside side is for the instant seaweed salad (that came in 40 mins late) and the two 1L beer which cost like $16 something each.

Everything used to be $6.80 back in the good old days. We popped in for dinner last night, had a few dishes (one of which included a piece of metal which I bit straight into) and a sake tasting that never arrived. Food is nowhere near what it used to be, service was slow and they seemed overworked.

We got a discount for the metal (seemed like we weren't the only ones) and 10% on top discount. We won't be back.

Good food, good service and environment. Lots of options for both food and drinks. Been here a couple times and had a good time both.

The place was nice and cozy. Food wasn’t too bad although, it may be a little too small and pricey. Also, the service & staffs were really nice and friendly. Overall, its really a pretty decent place and worth to try for some small dinner.

Worst restaurant experience of my life. We did not get served our drinks for over 30 mins after we ordered, and it took over an hour after that to be given any of our food. We were a group of 5 and each time a dish was delivered, the person who had ordered the dish finished it before the next order was delivered. We asked management to deliver our food at least semi-near eachother multiple times and were bluntly told no. Aside from this, not a single one of us was pleased with our food and we had to stop by a Grill'd to get chips before continuing our night.

Very slow service.
Cup for my drink was dirty and had food residue.
Orders came out wrong.
We eventually left even though not everything we ordered came out.

2021. Ordered 3 items and they don't have 2 of them. Ridiculous
2019 Poor service, closes before they say they are, so if you think its 10.30pm its rubbish. Food is hit and miss, wait staff are hit n miss, try elsewhere.

I ordered this at 7: 50 pm and it arrived at 9: 10 pm. I’m not even really fussed by that cause I’m willing to wait.

However, I ordered two Tamagoyaki and only one arrived. You also forgot to put rice in the bento box I’m honestly shocked by your service.

I will say this as nicely as I possibly can,
I think you need more staff, you can’t be taking orders and making your customers wait an hour to an hour and a half for food and end up serving an incomplete order.

Please read the lowest rated reviews on your page, listen to your customers.

Also, please don’t start your response with “We apologise that our service did not meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns” like you do for all your one star ratings that are all the same issues as you seem very disingenuous. Thank you x
