During my regular flights to Melbourne, I'm already thinking of this place at 39,000 feet. I land, and there is an almost desperate pilgrimage to my regular fix of Japanese excellence. When I eat the food here, I could die happy as if it were my last supper. Just brilliant. Atmosphere, food, service. One of the gems of Melbourne.

Good place, good vibe and especially good food. The portion may be in the small side but each dish is wholesome. We have been back here a few time and each meal is always good. The drinks are fun and the desserts are always delicious.

Great place to have traditional Japanese food. Highlights to the salmon Salad, crab Burguer, and fried rice.

Service is great and waiters are very precise when taking notes of orders, even with a huge group ordering several different detailed requests.

The place is right at the city centre, walking pass by and love the ambience and their tapas menu. We miss so much on Japanese gyoza in Tokyo and Gyoza Douraku specialised on it. The food taste really good and definetely we will come back. We ordered, prawn pork gyoza soup, pork garlic gyoza, deep fried oyster and salmon tataki salad, all taste really good! Recommended

If you are a Gyoza lover, you need to go to this place.

One of a few places in Melbourne that handmade their gyoza and deliver amazing taste to your tongue.

Be sure to book ahead of time as this place fills up fast. With more than 6 gyoza flavours, there is always a flavour for everyone

Always a delight coming here, the food is delicious and fresh. The Kaisen Harumaki is well worth ordering - fantastic little pocket of crispiness with a good balance of saltiness and creaminess. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to eat real Japanese gyoza! Busy place but easy to get a seat. All gyoza's $6.80 for 5pcs. You can choose pan-fried or steamed which is nice to have more options. Gyoza special is more cheaper $4.80 only for pork gyoza. If you don't eat pork, there's still plenty to choose from - wagyu beef, prawn, chicken, potato gyoza. Their fruity drink specials are also nice. We had peach fantasia jug yum! The soft serve cone ice cream is also recommended - matcha & roasted tea mix

It is a great cosy place with lovely services. There are plenty of snacks on the menu (tofu, fried chicken bites, dumplings). I always feel refreshed after the lunch here.

Nice "tapas" style Japanese restaurant. Attentive and knowledgeable staff who set well with eejits like me who know nothing if the food culture so the aided us well. Basic but fun.
