Have frequented the Swanston St GiG numerous times without complaint. Unfortunately not the case with my first & last visit here. If the staff were having a literal competition to see who could put off serving a waiting customer the longest, it wouldn't have surprised me. On top of that no seating - the only food outlet in the vicinity not to offer even a bench to sit at - no atmosphere, and I've seen zookeepers toss meat to wild animals with more care & grace than the way the food's handed over here.

Wow what a meal the best take take away u cauld dream of. Burrito bowl can not beat it 25 stars

I don't normally leave bad reviews but this one really frustrated us. Ordered on doordash, order was confirmed, the driver arrived to pick the food up and then the order was cancelled with the store citing the reason as 'store closed'. This was false as the order was placed early, we waited quite a while and then the store cancelled the order considerably before the 9pm closing time. The only thing we can think is that we ordered some vegetarian options which after a while they realised they could not fulfil so they eventually cancelled the order with the false reason of store being closed. Not only did they waste our time and inconvenience us (we allowed cooking and delivery time to coincide with us finishing work, having food delivered then driving an hour to get home - we ended up getting home super late organising other food) but, even worse, they wasted the time of the driver who arrived and was waiting to pick the food. Bad form.

I love Guzman but Everytime I come to this location they never have anything in stock despite apparently been open until 9pm I have to order from the other side of the city to get what I want despite living across the road from this one

Do not order from here for delivery. You’ll wait an hour, see 3-4 delivery drivers go to pick up on the app, and then disappear as it’s closed or not ready yet.

Took an hour and a half for one lousy burrito. If you can’t cope with the demand of online orders. Don’t offer it. Simple. Food arrived cold and sloppy.

I mistakely did a wrong order and tried to call many time no respond and I am not anle to pick a food

I ordered a delivery today before 9pm (time that the restaurant should be open and operating) and they never made and delivered my food.
I waited for over a hour, until I gave up and ordered from GYG SWANSTON, who delivery my food within 25 minutes.

The order said processing until over 11pm when it clearly wasn't as the kitchen was closed. This was incredibly frustrating.

What aload of rubbish worst quality i have ever had. They present to be a Los Angeles style Mexican food tacos and boretos. The wraps are ordinary tough bread. Everything is prepared weeks in advance. Complete rubbish

Had food poisoning after ordering there on 12 October. Should have known from the way they handled the food. Saw an employee shake hands with a customer he knew. Someone needs to call the health inspectors on this place

Place it ok food is good but the team talk with each other alot which cause food to go very very slow.

The worse experience here. Employees Clueless on customer service. There customer service contact centre is even worse. Never again.

Overcharged me for under cooked rice with little to no chicken in my burrito, along with burnt fries. Don't believe all the talk about supporting businesses during lock down. They have no problems over charging you only to provide an underwelming product. Insolvency and bankruptcy is the karma bus, hopefully with your ticket on it.

Security guard is racist and really rude. They should change this person. This person is hazard to other civilians and the business.

I always enjoy the food from here. I'm kinda stuck on one dish even though I have tried a few different ones.
The team seem to always be having a good time in the kitchen listening and singing to music. It brings a smile to my face.

Gyg food is one of the best Mexican fast food. The gyg at Collins St could benefit with a few more chairs and tables. The tables that are empty are usually dirty but considering the fact that most of them are takeaway orders I don't see this changing any time soon.

Food was bland and tasteless. Ordered the vegetarian burrito, I may of well as ordered cardboard. After getting home and reading the takeaway menu which I grabbed on a whim while leaving the restaurant with my takeaways, I noticed a part about a salsa station! What salsa station? There was nothing on the overhanging menu boards about such a thing. None of the staff mentioned such a thing. I would of loved to add some Spanish onion, jalapeños and a Smokey chipotle salsa to my burrito. Unfortunately no one bothered to communicate to me that this was a option! A free option at that! Perhaps that’s why no one offered? Cost saving? Very cheeky. Promote free extras on the menu then don’t offer them. It should be a standard verbal offer at the till when you are ordering. Also no vegan cheese or gluten free wraps? ! Get with times Guzman!

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly. Always good music, good vibes and tasty food coming from the kitchen.

Horrible service and low quality of food.on 26/4 i ordered fresh large chips and specially requested for hot and fresh and dont mind to wait longer to get my order but it was very disappointed as hot chips were mixed with old cooked chips.

This was 3rd time that food was out of expectation and this time i couldnt stop myself to go back and give them feed back for their food.

The girl at counter was very unprofessional and kept argued and repeated herself and tried to prove that they never served me with mixed large hot and cold chips but i can replace your order again with hot chips.very disappointed with service and quality of food and i said its ok i will not ever come.wont recommend to my friend and colleague ever.
